Water Aid is a United Kingdom (UK) based international development NGO
established since 1981 with operations in 27 countries across the world
including Nigeria. Since 1996, we have been working in partnership with
the government of Nigeria to provide services to the most marginalized
populations in Bauchi, Benue, Enugu, Ekiti, Jigawa and Plateau states.
We believe in a world where everyone, everywhere has access to safe
water and improved sanitation/hygiene by 2030.
We seek to expand our database of suitably qualified, competent and
experienced professionals interested in being listed as adhoc volunteers
who can be called upon at short notice to support in the Provision of
specific value, added services required to deliver a large and highly
dynamic development program. This is in line with our aim to continue to
utilize and strengthen local capacity to adequately provide quality
technical assistance for water, hygiene and sanitation delivery and
development in Nigeria.
We will accept two categories of volunteers- experienced professionals
in the areas listed below and young graduates seeking an exposure to the
development sector.

Location: We desire that our pool of volunteers must be
currently resident either in Abuja or any of the six Water Aid Nigeria
focal states (Bauchi, Bernie, Enugu, Ekiti, Jigawa and Plateau states)
