We are seeking an  experienced and highly motivated individual in any of the engineering disciplines for immediate appointment as Site Coordinator on a construction site in Ikeja, Lagos State.

We are currently engaged in developing a state-of-the-art multipurpose studios. The works involves massive construction of civil, building and electromechanical works that will support all activities within the studio complex.

JOB TITLE: SITE COORDINATOR
 Job Description:
The successful candidate is expected to work as part of an innovative and highly committed team made up of reputable consultants; will also co-ordinate between all engineering aspects with contractors throughout the ongoing construction activities from ground breaking through to completion of construction. He must be experienced in construction time management, risk management and value engineering; possess excellent communication skills and be a strong team player. A proven track record of managing and motivating matrix team will be an added advantage.


RESPONSIBILITIES:
Manage contractors to deliver on agreed targets.
Communicate and coordinate day to day project activities within the project team and ensure that priorities are developed and known.
Ensure that contractors and their supervisors are monitored on an ongoing basis, that contractors' management take positive actions to maintain safety, health and environmental arrangements.
Assure that project milestone/targets are clearly communicated and understood within and outside the project such that the appropriate parties can marshal resources and activities to align with project delivery.
Liaise with designers and project consultants to ensure interpretation of their requirements and obtain authorization for modifications consequent upon site conditions.
Assist with input to the commercial process, prepare local instructions to contractors to contractors and ensure that work is effectively managed to control cost. Maintain records for use in adjudication on applications for enhanced or reduced payments.
Must work to improve safety performance and meet company targets.


QUALIFICATIONS:
Minimum of a Bachelors Degree in related Civil and Building Engineering fields from a reputable institution
Minimum of five years post qualifications experience in similar positions
Knowledge of AutoCAD, Microsoft Project and Microsoft Excel usage will be an advantage.
