Job Title: Project Accountant
Location: Abuja
Job Description
- Our client is seeking an experienced, AACA/ACA/ICAN qualified Project Accountant to assist and support its project team
- The Project Accountant will assist and support the project team by maintaining accurate and complete accounting records
- The position works under direct supervision and gathers and distributes information to the Project Management Office.
Responsibilities
- Employ problem-solving skills and analysis, and report problems to the Senior Accountant, as necessary.
- Monitoring progress of projects in alignment with project budget numbers
- Investigating variances of project costs
- Producing project accounts and reports.
- Develops monthly reconciliation of funds receivable from projects and works to collect outstanding funds.
- Effectively communicate with Project Managers, regarding contract documents, change orders and other contract modifications, approvals, and any additional services-related to billing.
- Collates all project expenses and final invoices for all billable projects, including all applicable backup Documents for approval.
- Maintain appropriate folders for all projects, with appropriate documents, including contracts awards, change order expenses and monthly invoices, in accordance with standard procedures.
- Provide Account officer with advice on client billing, relative to invoicing and reimbursable expenses. It is expected that the project accountant maintain a continuous line of communication with the account officer to clear any open issues.
- Maintain accurate monthly reporting, including job cost reports, Project Status Report, and general condition forecasting
Other Key Requirements
- The Project Accountant must be a team player and have strong organizational and accounting skills.
- The successful candidate should ideally have previous Inventory management experience
- 3-5 years cognate work experience and must have played a key role in the daily operations of the accounts department.
- The successful candidate must have ACCA/ACA/ICAN Accountancy qualification
- Intermediate to advanced computer literacy, including experience in word processing, spreadsheets and accounting software.
Job Title: Business Development Executive
Location: Abuja
Duties and Responsibilities
- Developing business plans that cover sales, revenue and expense control in assigned segment.
- Understanding clients’ needs and offering solutions and support; responding to client’s objections.
- Creating informative presentations and delivering information to potential clients at meetings.
- Working with necessary internal stakeholders to ensure client’s expectations are met (presentation, proposal, project delivery etc.).
- Presenting weekly sales, revenue, expenses report and realistic forecasts to the DBDM.
- Identifying emerging opportunities and market shifts while being fully aware of new products and competitive landscape.
- Implementing organization's sales policies, objectives and initiatives in assigned segment.
- Maintaining professional and technical knowledge by taking assigned trainings, attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies and benchmarking state-of-the-art practices.
- Maintaining a health pipeline by pursuing new sales opportunities, gather inbound leads, and follow-up calls/meetings.
- Understanding our ideal customers and how they relate to our services.
- Setting objectives, coach and regularly conduct performance review for business development executives.
- Analysing sales data, review trends and recommend changes or improvements for better customer satisfaction and future revenue.
