Job Title: Head of Operations, Banking

Location: VI, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time
Level: Middle Level

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and coordinate operations activities on a daily basis
  • Maintain a highly motivated, skilled and trained workforce with operations
  • Ensure that all activities and process undertaken by operations unit conform to set standards pertaining to banking policies
  • Manage the Bank’s operational risk exposure by supporting the Business to identify areas of operational risk exposure and by developing and implementing corrective action.
  • Design, develop and keep updated the Banks’ Operations Manual and ensure compliance to all operational guidelines, processes and procedures.
  • Responsible for re-engineering business processes to improve customer service, cost-effectiveness and controls.
  • Ensure technical, banking and operation policies are efficiently and appropriately achieved
  • Manage centralized loan processing and account opening functions to ensure efficiency, quality and control over loan creation and completeness of Know Your Customer (KYC) / Anti-Money Laundering (AML) activities.
  • Reconciliation of all POS terminal transactions
  • Safeguard customer data and protect against fraud through management of authorization levels and access rights.
  • Ensure that effective documentation is in place, in the form of user guides and implement operational policies.

Customer Service:

  • To establish and maintain appropriate management of treasury liquidity position of the company at every point in time
  • To ensure that loan account debit position is reduced to the barest minimal for reduced loan interest at the end of the month
  • To coordinate instant transfers to various company bank account to meet disbursement needs

Leadership:

  • Develop and manage a team of well-trained, focused and motivated Banking Services staff
  • To demonstrate and /or develop a proactive “change the Bank mindset”
  • To ensure deliverables of team assigned
  • To perform any other duty assigned by management from time to time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree qualification.
  • 5 -7 years experience as HOP, preferably in Fintech / Bank Operations
  • Analytical and practical understanding of workflow, capacity planning / optimisation and process implementation
  • Experience building, leading, and managing a team of direct reports.
  • Must have firsthand knowledge of agents -aggregator management.

 

 



Job Title: Administrative Officer

Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities

  • Answering telephone calls, responding to queries, and replying to emails.
  • Preparing expense reports and office budgets.
  • Managing office supplies and ordering new supplies as needed.
  • Systematically filing important company documents.
  • Forwarding all correspondence, such as letters and packages, to staff members.
  • Scheduling meetings and booking conference rooms.
  • Hiring maintenance vendors to repair or replace damaged office equipment.
  • General office management .
  • Maintain a company calendar and schedule appointments
  • Arrange travel and accommodations
  • Taking minutes
  • Arranging both internal and external events
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining records and databases
  • Coordinating building and maintenance issues for general repair (heating and air conditioning, security, etc.) and updating (carpet cleaning, painting, etc.).

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
  • 2-4 years exeperience in same role.
  • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • The ability to multitask.
  • Excellent organizational skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
