Our client, an existing reputable Micro-fiance Bank based in the center city of Ijebu Land, Ogun State with sound financial track records urgently requires the services of qualified and competent personnel to fill the vacant position below:
Job Title: Head of Internal Audit
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Designs and supervises the implementation of an effective internal control system and audit frame work for the Bank
- Investigates all cases of non-compliance or infractions of internal policies, procedures and external regulatory standards as well as make recommendations to management as applicable.
- Prepares the Bank’s annual audit plan.
- Manages performance of audit assignments, reviews work papers and audit reports.
- Schedules and plans audit exercise; initiates project planning, assess risk and develop audit direction
- Performs preliminary planning and establishes direction for audits, provides leadership to assigned auditors, manage project to quality outcomes
- Performs audit work, including plan preparation, work papers, finding, and associated reports; verifies the accuracy of financial records as they pertain to assets, liabilities, receipts, expenditures, and related transactions
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities, as may be assigned by the Managing Director or by the Board.
Job Requirements
- A first degree in Banking, Finance, Accounting and or any other related discipline.
- Possession of a Master’s degree and or professional qualifications shall be an added advantage.
- Possession of an MCIB certification with a minimum of eight years banking experience and directly related to the duties and responsibilities specified above.
- Must not be older than 45 years of age.
Skills and Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of auditing concepts, principles, standards, policies and procedures
- High sense of responsibility, accountability, integrity and ethical standards
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.

- Process and operations re-engineering skills.

Job Title: Information Technology Officer
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Assists in the coordination of the day-to-day operations of the ICT Department
- Partakes in the implementation and maintenance of the Banks information system needs.
- Assists in the design and coordination of the implementation of systems, policies and procedures for the e-Banking application programmes.
- Preserves ICT infrastructure, information security and control structures.
- Assists in preparing ICT annual budget and ensures its effective execution.
- Ensures security of data. network access and backup systems.
- Identifies problematic areas and implement strategic solutions in lime
Job Requirements
- A first degree in Computer Science with relevant professional certificate.
- Possession of an MCIB will bean added advantage.
- Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in the banking industry
- Must not be older than 40 years of age.

- Versatility in Web Management and other e-Banking applications programmes

Job Title: Marketer
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Wins new accounts and maintains existing customers.
- Processes loan applications
- Disburses and monitors loan.
- Mobilizes deposits.
- Collects loan repayments.
- Renders daily returns.
Job Requirements
- Minimum of OND in Banking, Finance, Accounting, Marketing or any other related discipline
- Minimum of 2 years cognate experience in a Micro-finance Bank
- Must not be older than 35 years of age.

Job Title: Managing Director/Chief Executive Officer
Location: Ogun
Responsibilities
- Manages the day-to-day operations of the Bank.
- Provides strategic input and direction for the development of performance targets, including on-going monitoring to ensure achievement of set targets
- Builds the organizational structures and business teams to maximize productivity and performance.
- Ensures business compliance with company’s policies, procedures and corporate governance expectations.
- Initiates projects geared towards new products/ service development and or product 1 service enhancement by giving appropriate guidance on required checks, controls, processes and procedures in line with leading practices within the sector
- Facilitates and presents periodic business performance review reports to the Board.
- Promotes advocacy roles within the Micro-finance Bank Platforms.
- Ensures the Bank delivers on its short and long term strategic road map.
- Manages relationship with investors, regulatory agencies, creditors and other partner institutions.
Job Requirements
- A first degree from in Banking Finance, Accounting and or any other related discipline.
- Possession of a Master’s degree and or professional qualifications shall be an added advantage.
- Possession of an MCIB certification with a minimum often years banking experience of which part must be in micro-financing and multi-functional roles within the industry.
- Prior board-level experience and experience reporting to a Board.
- Must not be older than 50 years of age
Skills and Competencies:
- Sound knowledge of the Nigerian financial services market -
- Good product development and portfolio management capabilities
- Excellent customer relationship development and management skills.
- Knowledge and understanding of commercial financial products.
- Ability to think strategically and holistically and to appreciate the systemic impact of venous policies, issues and solutions
- High sense of responsibility, accountability, integnty and ethical standards. -
- Strong business acumen, maturity and tact, including the ability to relate with highest levels of management of financial institutions.
