If you are our Trade Marketing Manager for Central Africa, based in Lagos - Nigeria, you will have the chance to:
  • Be responsible for the demand increase at retailer and consumer level both online and offline through focused ad strategic marketing activities and sales partnerships
  • Position HP as top of mind at consumer level while training extended sales force team on product update and selling skills
  • Work with and leverage internal partners to deliver the business results
  • Closely collaborate with various stakeholders within the sales organization at regional level
  • Be responsible in implementing trade marketing strategies in retail channels
  • Be involved in market analysis, marketing engagement, marketing communication
  • Build close relationship with retail channels and partners
  • Handle promotional practices and campaigns
Job Requirements Are you a high-performer? We are looking for an individual with:
  • 3-5 years of professional experience with a combination of Marketing, Sales, Business Planning experience preferred
  • Selling experience at end user account or partner level
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems
  • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel, including competitive positioning
  • Understanding of HP's organization & operations, including key business rules, partner segmentation, key programs & initiatives, structure
  • Understanding of a select set of HP's products, software, and services. Able to communicate the strengths of HP's offerings, and overcome objections
  • Effectively sells HP offerings by building strategic relationships with partner contacts; and promoting HP programs and offerings
  • Develops account plans with partner to grow HP's share of the business
  • Partners effectively with others to ensure coordinated, efficient account management
  • Understanding of pipeline management basics and ability to explain benefits to partners

  • Experience in Digital Media Entertainment will be an asset.
  • Graduate degree obtained in the last 12 months preferably in a Technical/Engineering field
  • Current experience and knowledge of computer technologies, hardware, operating systems, software, networking technologies.
  • Passion about technology and innovation
  • Fluency in English + fluency in the native language of the country you are applying to
  • Excel and PowerPoint knowledge
