Job Title: Cost Estimator
Location: Lagos
Reporting To: Project Manager
Job Summary
- The duty of the Cost Estimator is to estimate the cost of that project for the outcome of a project
- The jobs get increased as growth occurs in the Company thus Incumbents are required to have the skills required to deal with the growing complexity of construction projects.
Responsibilities and Duties
- The main responsibility is to estimate the cost, size, nature and duration of a future project perfectly.
- It will be very necessary to gather data for analyzing for all financial aspects of the project.
- Research prices on material, time and labour costs using published documents, local conditions, market studies, etc.
- Prepare and monitor project cashflow forecasts.
- Measure, value, submit and negotiate contract variations.
- Provide advice to project staff on commercial and contractual matters including reviewing and drafting of correspondence.
- Prepare preliminary estimates, cost plans, feasibility studies including advising the project team on economical construction methods, procurement, programming and contract matters, to enable costs to be accurately advised to clients.
- As he or she has to estimate the costs of project, Incumbents will also need to consider the materials, location, duration etc of project.
- He or she has the duty to separate the costs from the construction and manufacturing estimates.
- He or she has the duty to help the Company to make a bid for a contract by sourcing for the required information.
- It will be their responsibility to carry out necessary operational research, production control etc for the completion of the project.
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree /HND in relevant disciplines
- Registered Professional Certificates is an added advantage
- Previous experience in relevant disciplines
- Thorough knowledge of all field engineering and construction methods including practice and procedures.

Job Title: Site Engineer
Location: Lagos
Reporting To: Project Manager
Job Summary
- We are seeking for an energetic and Passionate Site Engineer, who will offers advice in the planning, co-ordination and supervision of technical aspects of construction projects. In addition, the role of the ideal candidate is vital to a construction project, which would have a number of responsibilities including solving technical issues, providing advice, management and preparing reports.
Responsibilities and Duties
As a Site Engineer, You will need to:
- Plan the work and efficiently organise the plant and site facilities in order to meet agreed deadlines
- Oversee quality control and health and safety matters on site
- Prepare reports as required
- Resolve any unexpected technical difficulties and other problems that may arise.
- Act as the main technical adviser on a construction site for subcontractors, craftspeople and operatives
- Set out, level and survey the site
- Check plans, drawings and quantities for accuracy of calculations
- Ensure that all materials used and work performed are in accordance with the specifications
- Oversee the selection and requisition of materials
- Agree a price for materials and make cost-effective solutions and proposals for the intended project
- Day-to-day management of the site, including supervising and monitoring the site labour force and the work of any subcontractors
Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, Construction, Building, or related field
- State-issued certification or engineering license
- Considerable experience in a similar position
- In-depth knowledge of engineering, technology, building, construction, and design
- Proficient in the use of computer aided design (CAD) software
