Summary
- The Regional Field Sales Manager’s primary purpose is to lead the regional sales force to achieve the agreed sales and commercial objectives within budgetary constraints, through selling, negotiating and executing the company’s objectives with key trade sectors.
- The position is based within the Field Sales division of the Country Sales operations. The position is assigned a region and leads the Field Sales force within the South West region.

- Coach & manage a team of Sales Managers to deliver on set Sales objective.
- Identify and harness sales development opportunities within area of coverage.
- Implementation of Sales Force Automation
- Achieve sales targets within budgetary constraints, through selling, negotiating and executing the company’s objectives with key trade partners
- Develop and maintain sound mutually beneficial business relationship with Key trade partners.
- Deliver distribution target for core brands as well as new products within assigned sales Region
Who we are looking for
- Minimum 8 years FMCG experience in Sales/ Marketing
- Preferably a University degree in a Commercial subject - from a recognised University
- Strong understanding of sales and marketing strategy and planning issues
- Strong analytical skills with ability to develop strategies, tactics and measurable implementation
- Ability to think outside the box
- Candidate must be proficient in MS Office tools.
- Results oriented, entrepreneurial and self-motivating
- Tenacious and resilient, driven to achieve even when faced with obstacles
- Leadership and interpersonal skills capable of building strong working relationships and influencing and customers and internal teams

Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager - Fleet Business Operations (Haulage)
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the development of new business solutions such as Transportation, Distribution and Warehousing for clients at regional and national level.
- Lead negotiations of new and major contracts; managing it from drafting, development to execution phase ensuring that all operational and commercial clauses are clearly reflective of actual capacity and business potentials
- Manage client needs as stipulated in the contractual agreements ensuring their expectations are met and exceeded by continually seeking ways to improving the value chain
- Develop & manage fleet of about 300+ trucks with their respective profit and loss accounts
- Develop strategies, policies, procedures and overall motivated workforce to optimize value of the entire function in creating a world class logistics solutions for multinationals
- Increase truck availability and turnaround time to enhance profitability level.
- Design a multi-billing system that tracks daily availability, monitor truck routine maintenance as well as track delays at clientele base to maximize profitability
- Establish annual goal and objectives (including stretch targets) in coordination with long & short term corporate objectives through the development of departmental budget
- Explore finance options and manage relationship with the banks for expanding the transportation business that geared towards ensuring best return on investment.
Qualification and Key Competencies
- Candidate must be a BSc./B.Eng./HND with a minimum of 10+ years of experience leading teams in logistics and transportation management.
- High level provision of logistic services to FMCG in moving their products to their distributors
- Demonstrated leadership in implementing programs at a level which keeps domestic transportation aligned to performance targets and drives continuous improvement.
- Possesses sound knowledge and experience in successfully developing and deploying logistics strategies and driving cost-out through disciplined Project Management.
- Strong business acumen and understanding of P&L and operating performance metrics
- Strong analytical and structured problem solving skills
Job Title: Senior Business Development Manager (Commercial Vehicles – Trucks & Construction Equipment)
Location: Lagos
Key Responsibilities
- Maintains strong strategic relationships with existing company clients and develops new key contacts.
- Develop and implement customer strategies and action plans to increase sales of Commercial Vehicles – Trucks & Construction Equipment.
- Develop monthly and yearly sales forecast by product and customer for the respective customers sectors.
- Identify trends and issues pertaining to customer feedback of implemented sales/marketing initiatives.
- Identify and address current and potential customer service issues through the close interaction with the Inside Sales Team.
- Develop team of sales force, Train & support junior sales officers
- Convey customer requirements to Product Management teams
Qualification and Key Competencies
- Candidate must be a BSc./B.Eng./HND in Engineering or Social Science with a minimum of 10+ years cognate sales experience of Trucks & Heavy Equipment
- Technical knowledge of automotive and/or heavy truck products and it different applications
- Must possess strong presentation skills and be able to communicate professionally in written responses to emails.
- Candidate must have excellent interpersonal skills, entrepreneurial spirit, technical expertise, be a self – starter.
- Demonstrated track record of landing new business and successful negotiations
