Execute Sustainability & Climate Change, Waste Management, Health, Safety & Environment (HSE) and Renewable Energy projects
Participate in business development activities
Active involvement in carrying out quantitative and qualitative research
Manage risks within the context of PwC’s global policies and procedures
Coach, develop and mentor direct reports
Understand and live the PwC values

Requirements Education:

A good bachelor’s degree in Environmental Science or other related fields
Master’s degree in relevant fields will be an added advantage

Key Skills and Competencies:

Minimum of 7 years’ consulting or industry experience in Sustainability & Climate Change and other related areas
Strong IT Skills and technical depth
Project management skills – ability to manage multiple and complex projects and multi-task simultaneous client engagements
Demonstrable creativity and innovation
Clear passion for delivering results and meeting goals as a team manager
Ability to communicate clearly with colleagues and clients
Demonstrable track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships
Proactive approach to problem solving and meeting client expectations
Excellent presentation, communication and facilitation skills
Adapting and responding to change
Excellent written and oral communication skills (presentation & facilitation)
Strong analytical and problem solving capabilities

Job Title: Senior Associate - Governance Risk and Compliance (Sustainability) Reference Number: 125-NIG00136 Location: Lagos Line of Service: Assurance Roles

Execute sustainability & climate change and other related projects
Manage risks within the context of PwC’s global policies and procedures
Coach, develop and mentor direct reports

Active involvement in carrying out quantitative and qualitative research

Requirements Education:

First Degree in Environmental Science or other related fields - minimum of Second Class Upper

Key Skills and Competencies:

3 - 5 years’ consulting or industry experience in performing sustainability assignment responsibilities
Good knowledge of Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), Nigerian Sustainable Banking Principles, Sustainability Reporting or Assurance, and Sustainability Impact Assessments.
Proven track record of establishing and maintaining strong relationships
Strong IT Skills and technical depth
Research-oriented mindset
Project management skills – ability to manage multiple and complex projects and multi-task simultaneous client engagements
Excellent written and oral communication skills
Ability to lead in executing Sustainability & Climate Change consulting projects
Ability to work collaboratively with other members of the Sustainability team
Ability to communicate clearly and confidently with an audience in giving presentations.
