  • The positions are Land based and successful candidates will work and live in South-Eastern Nigeria.
  • Under supervision, assists with pre-job product and service equipment preparation (assembly, test, mobilize) and product installation at the well site.
  • Assists with post-job mobilization, clean up and repair of service equipment and products.
  • Successful candidate must demonstrate knowledge and skills related to HSE activities - site assessments and risk analyses, onsite safety meetings, PPE use; documentation, etc.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Applicant must possess at least HND qualification in Engineering
  • 2 or more years' experience in related projects
  • Knowledge of the safety regulations and working in a hazardous area.
  • Computer: Be able to produce a report using Word, be able to perform simple calculation with Excel. Have been introduced to internet and mails.
  • Good understanding of Equipment Terminology and various process equipment.
  • Know how to select and use the necessary hand tools.
  • Properly operate, maintain and use the available set of workshop tools.
Job Title: Production Maintenance (Mechanical, Electrical, Instrument) Location: South-Eastern, Nigeria Job Description/Requirements
  • Under direct supervision, assists in a variety of tasks in support of general maintenance. Performs maintenance and repair tasks as directed on all mechanical, electrical or instrument related systems.
  • Observes and follows all safety rules and procedures.
  • Skills are typically acquired through possession of at least a Higher National Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical or Instrument Engineering with 2 years of experience.
  • Assists in completing and maintaining plant maintenance documentation, maintains tools and equipment and performs various cleaning and house-keeping activities.

Job Title: Senior Production Engineer Location: South-Eastern Nigeria Job Description
  • Monitoring well performance, in order to provide production optimization recommendations
  • Monitoring production and individual facilities on daily basis to detect any anomalies
  • Recommending remedial actions for wells and facilities problems
  • Integrating operational data into a format that can be used for operations
  • Analyzing production data and recommending action plans to overcome production difficulties
  • Planning and coordinating the optimization of wells, facilities and production systems to ensure that production is maximized and costs are minimized in line with good oilfield practice
  • Leading and coordinating Daily Production Review meetings for real and short time optimization.
  • Designing and optimizing artificial lift systems, including gas lift and electrical submersible pump system (ESPs).
  • Collation and interpretation of production data and preparation of daily operational reports
  • Responsible for preparing and implementing of all on-shift Health and Safety procedures
  • Coordination of the morning production tool box/operations meeting

  • Identify, evaluate and recommend remedial well work over to improve inflow performance through stimulation, additional and/or improved perforations.

Qualifications and Skills
  • B.Sc in Petroleum Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Chemical Engineering
  • A higher Degree in any of above related field will be an advantage
  • Over 5-10 years of experience as a Production Engineer working with an E&P organisation
  • Strong technical knowledge in the areas of down-hole and surface production technology, including knowledge of hydrocarbon processing equipment and their operations.
  • Effective oral and written communication skills with previous experience delivering technical presentations
Job Title: Instrument Technician / Senior Instrument Technician Location: South-Eastern, Nigeria Job Description
  • To provide maintenance service in line with planned maintenance activities.
  • Be prepared to react to non-routine emergency requirements such as breakdowns and to ensure a continuous production at all times.
  • Carry out daily process facilities surveillance of all process vessel, instruments controls of the process vessels - Heavy Oil, Light 011 &Test separator, FWKO, Flare Knock-out, Gas Scrubber, Heater Treater Vessels and the instrumentation at the Manifold (GGF) to ensure that they are in desired set points for optimal operation.
  • He is expected to have proper inventory of LACT unit instrumentation, Wellhead control panels, actuators valves, BPV, controllers, transmitters etc. and advice management in time for stock replenishment.
Qualifications and Skills
  • Applicant must possess at least OND/HND qualification in Electric/Electronic Engineering
  • 5 or more years' experience as an Instrument Technician
  • Good understanding of Equipment Terminology and various process equipment.
  • Understand preventive, corrective maintenance and maintenance plan concepts.
  • Have a basic knowledge of the CMMS (be able to issue a notification, read, interpret and complete work orders).
  • Knowledge of the safety regulations and working in a hazardous area.
  • Petroleum: Have a basic understanding of facilities / process (from well to export). Be knowledgeable of hydrocarbons behaviour and associated risks (explosion, asphyxia...). Computer: Be able to produce a report using Word, be able to perform simple calculation with Excel. Have been introduced to internet and mails.
  • Know how to select and use the necessary hand tools.
  • Property operate, maintain and use the available set of workshop tools.
  • Be able to complete a loop test from a transmitter/valve, SOV, limit switch, etc... to input/output of PCS/SSS.
