Job Title: Admin / HR Officer

Location: KiriKiri Apapa, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description / Responsibilities

  • The admin/HR Officer is responsible for the administrative duties in the Kirikiri Jetty Apapa.The successful candidate will manage the office environment, organize files, answer calls, and provide support for the site manager
  • Monitoring and maintaining office equipment and inventory supplies; orders replacement supplies as needed
  • Provide escort of Ship from the point of purchasing to the Jetty.
  • Report directly to COO
  • Manage inventory and maintaining of Company records.
  • Provide customers service and office report
  • Welcome visitors, Clients and overseeing the staff, cleaning and Security activities.
  • Creating, updating, and maintaining records and databases
  • Partner with CSO to ensure the safety and security of the Jetty
  • Travel by water to ensure safe arrival of materials from ship to the Jetty
  • Scheduling Jetty operations calendar and updating as needed
  • Preparing reports on materials logistics from Jetty to various locations.
  • Partnering with management in all transactions and movement of personnel and materials within the KiriKiri Jetty.
  • Coordinating office environment and maintenance issues for general repair (air conditioning, security, etc.)
  • Organizing special functions and social events
  • Preparing correspondence, documentation and presentation of materials.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • The candidate MUST residence within Apapa – Lagos state
  • B.Sc / HND in Business Administration or other related courses
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills; ability to prioritize
  • Willingness to travel by water
  • learn and to grow with the company and motivated to take on additional projects and solve problems
  • Self-directed and able to work without supervision
  • Comfortable in both a leadership and team-player role, manage team members, lead assistant meetings, and supervises when needed
  • Prior experience as an office administrator, or handling administrative responsibilities in port operations is highly required
  • Highly organized multi-tasker who works well in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, and Excel); scheduling appointments/updating calendars a must.

 

 

 

Job Title: AC Technician

Location: Sango Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • The Air conditioning technicians will perform various functions that will ensure air conditioning systems and related equipment and facilities work effectively and efficiently throughout the organisation.
  • Carry out repair and routine maintenance duties on equipment, building facilities and offices, building systems, grounds, and structures
  • Coordinate efforts with company’s contracted vendors to ensure company A/C systems are functioning perfectly
  • Perform inspection, maintenance, repairs, and installation of air conditioning systems, including building control and pneumatic systems, cooling systems, refrigerators, refrigerated water coolers, and similar equipment
  • Carry out maintenance checks on heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems.
  • Carry out overhauling and servicing of air conditioning and refrigeration units by repairing, changing, or reworking broken parts of compressors, condensers, and vacuum pumps; inspect and fix any leak observed, and charge units as required
  • Provide assistance to supervisor in planning new installation and modification projects,
  • Preparation of specification, and major reconditioning and overhauling projects, applying knowledge of refrigerating systems, engineering specifications.
  • Order for replacement of equipment parts as required, perform repairs as ordered, and keep record of servicing on equipments
  • Provide support after work hour if required in situations like emergency, workshop, commission meetings, and other company functions
  • Perform related duties that may be assigned

Qualifications, Skills and Ability Required

  • The Candidate MUST residence in Ota - Ogun state
  • OND or technical training in Air Conditioning systems
  • Working experience maintaining and repairing air conditioning systems and chillers
  • Possess certification in refrigerant transition and recovery
  • Possess certification in air conditioning system repairs
  • Ability to perform physical activities such as climbing, bending, balancing, stooping, kneeling, squatting, crawling, reaching, crouching, push/pull objects, etc.
  • Ability to work with manual or power tools and operate motorized vehicles
  • Ability to work outdoors, sit, walk, and stand for extended period of time
  • Strong knowledge of the hazards involved in the occupation, and the safety precautions to take
  • Ability to effectively file work orders and write reports
  • Strong ability and skill to quickly and correctly diagnose, locate, and fix defects in refrigeration and air conditioning systems/units and similar equipment

 

 

 

Job Title: Chief Security Officer - CSO

Location: Kirikiri, Apapa, Lagos

Job Description

  • The Chief Security Officer is responsible for the safety of life and property at the Jetty as directed the management.

Responsibilities

  • Builds a comprehensive information security management program that ensures effective information security practices and safety of company property.
  • Initiates, facilitates, and promotes activities to foster information security awareness within the department.
  • Evaluates security trends, evolving threats, risks and vulnerabilities and applies tools to mitigate risk as necessary.
  • Manages security incidents and events involving company property and environment
  • Ensure that business operations continuity, risk management and access controls needs of the facility are addressed.
  • Ensures the organization security operatives complies with the administrative, technical and physical safeguards.
  • Collaborates with organization management, line managers, and Corporate Compliance officer to establish governance for the security program.
  • Serves in operational meetings for security compliance.
  • Establishes and administers a process for investigating and acting on security incidents resulting in operational breaches.
  • Partners with Admin Officer to ensure consistent sanctions for security violations
  • Maintains current knowledge of applicable federal and state security laws, licensing and certification requirements and accreditation standards.
  • Serves as a security consultant to management at the Jetty.

Qualifications & Skills Requirements

  • The candidate MUST residence within Apapa – Lagos state
  • B.Sc / HND degree or any relevant field of study.
  • Knowledge and experience in state and federal information security laws and all other applicable regulations.
  • Demonstrated organization, facilitation, written and oral communication, and presentation skills.
  • Recommended Security certification in related security professional.
  • Demonstrated skills in collaboration, teamwork, and problem-solving to achieve goals.
  • Good verbal communication and listening skills.
  • Demonstrated skills in providing excellent service to customers.

Job Title: Tata Truck & Forklift Driver

Location: Sango - Ota, Ogun
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • A factory Tata Truck and Forklift driver having a dual knowledge to drive the Tata Truck and operate the Forklift machinery as well as possessing a good knowledge of handling technical tools.
  • Moving production raw materials and delivering finished products from production into Vehicles, Trailers and into the warehouse then stacking and palletising products.
  • Moving pallets of products in the production hall and between warehouse racks.
  • Utilizing many equipment types including hand trucks and others in the factory operations
  • Using the Tata truck for production logistics and any other assigned duties by the factory management on a daily basis.
