Aloma Suites and Hotel is located in a quiet and cool area of Egbeda, Alimosho Local Government Area of Lagos State; about 15minutes drive to the Airport. We render accomodation services, restaurant and bar, laundry and shuttle services.

We are recruiting to fill the positions below:

 

 

Job Title: Hotel Supervisor

Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Responsible for overall business performance of the hotel through efficient operations, effective cost controls, inventory and profit management
  • Achieve company objectives in sales targets, food costs, service, quality, ambience of the hotel, sanitation and cleanliness through continuous training of employees and creating a positive, productive working environment.
  • Administering fair and consistent corrective action for any violations of company policies
  • Ensure staff compliance with the company policies and health and safety standards
  • Monitor employee productivity and provide constructive feedback and coaching
  • Ensure that all inventory received and final product meet the required quality standards.
  • Responsible for minimizing wastage by ensuring the efficient use of resources (e.g. packaging, stationery, disposables, etc).
  • Planning adequate cover for absence to ensure the smooth running of business operations.
  • Ensure that all customers feel welcome and are given responsive, professional and courteous service at all times.
  • Responsible for the maintenance of equipment, fitting and facilities and ensures prompt repair in the event of any fault or breakdown.
  • Responsible for handling and resolving customer complaints
  • Maintain timekeeping and personnel records
  • Pass on information from upper management to employees and vice versa

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree, HND qualification
  • Minimum of 2 -3 years experience
  • Work experience in management and the hospitality industry is an added
  • advantage.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Outstanding organizational and leadership skills
  • Decisive, dedicated, smart and a critical thinker
  • Good time management ability.
  • Candidate must reside around Ikotun and its environs. Preferably a male.

Salary
N600,000 Annually

 

 

 

Job Title: Account Officer

Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Maintaining financial records.
  • Handling accounts payable and receivable.
  • Checking invoices.
  • Keeping of comprehensive general ledger
  • Contacting clients about transactions and invoices.
  • Handling queries related to accounts
  • Writing vouchers and posting transactions into the accounting software.
  • Responsible for issuing receipt for payment received
  • Responsible for petty cash management and reporting expenses made from same on daily basis
  • Providing daily and weekly sales, profit and other management reports to Management.
  • Computation and reconciliation of utilities payments made against outstanding
  • Prepares debtors details on monthly basis
  • Responsible for ensuring that all required records (sales, inventory, food cost, stock, wastage etc) are properly updated on a daily basis or as and when required.
  • Controls profit & loss, by following cash handling policy, internal control procedures, maintaining inventory, managing food and labour costs, reviewing financial reports and taking appropriate actions
  • Managing and monitoring the restaurant budget to ensure that set targets are met.

Requirements

  • HND, OND, BSc qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Able to work well within a team.
  • Proficiency in MS Excel and QuickBooks.
  • Solid analytical skills.
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Should have at least an ATS certification
  • High level of confidentiality
  • Must reside around Ikotun
  • Preferably a female

Salary
N480,000 Annually

 

 

 

Job Title: Cook

Location: Ikotun, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Responsibilities

  • Meal planning, food dressing and creative preparation and presentation of meals that can compete with other hotels
  • Prepares food according to the specification of guests to accommodate their preferences and before arrival of guests.
  • Orders ingredients and spices as needed
  • Operates various kitchen appliances such as a blender, oven, grill, or stand mixer.
  • Estimates expected food consumption and organises preparation
  • Keeps records and accounts of food purchases.
  • Train other cooks in food preparation.
  • Must be able to come up with strategies to curb wastage.
  • Communicates with Management about how to improve meal service.
  • Cleans food preparation areas

Requirements

  • HND, BSc qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience
  • Knowledgeable in Food Hygiene.
  • Vast in preparation of Local Nigerian dishes as well as Continental cuisine.
  • Must have worked in a hotel and be able to work night shifts

Salary
N360,000 Annually
