Job For HSE Advisor In A Reputable Construction/Facility Management Company


Afordonz Consulting Limited - Our client who specializes in Construction and Facilities Management is seeking to fill the position below:
Job Title: HSE Advisor Location: Lagos Job Description/Responsibilities Core functions include but not limited to:
  • In addition, you will prepare monthly reports and make presentations to management. Coordinate compliance reviews, general risk assessments and other safety assessments to support health, safety and environmental management
  • Develop scope, objectives, work plans, priorities and schedule for assessments/ audit activities
  • Coordinate the development and presentation of relevant HSE training
  • Maintain positive and proactive relations with management, employees and host communities
  • You will be responsible for developing and implementing organizational safety policies and programs.
  • You will review and update institutional HSE policies and conduct risk assessments to detect potential hazards and plan precautionary measures.
  • You will be responsible for writing HSE manuals for the organization.
  • To continually maintain an appropriate level of awareness, knowledge and preparedness across the organization,
  • You will coordinate training programs for employees and educating workers about site-specific safety measures.
Requirements
  • Minimum of a second class Upper bachelor's degree in Science/Engineering or equivalent with additional professional qualifications in HSE, Fire & Safety Management Systems
  • Minimum of 5 years relevant experience in similar capacity.
  • Candidate must have led a team before coupled with superior customer relationship management skills.

  • Strong leadership skills, Good oral and written communication skills; strong service orientation; good team player; excellent vendor interface skills; good problem solving skills and ability to work with minimal supervision.
