We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Country IT Manager (Female)
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Ensure the creation and maintenance of all written documentation, including system and user manuals, license agreements, and documentation of modifications and upgrades.
- Oversee provision of IT Support for all employees Nationally
- Identification and monitoring of our IT risk profile
- Manage the IT components associated with ISO 27001 compliance
- Keep current with the latest technologies and determine what new technology solutions and implementations will meet business and system requirements.
- Manage financial aspects of the IT Department, including purchasing, budgeting, and budget review.
- Develop and implement all IT policies and procedures, including those for architecture, security, disaster recovery, standards, purchasing, and service provision.
- Continuous improvements of operating procedures and best practices, including providing written protocols and guidance to IT staff and end-users.
- The IT Manager is responsible for Presence of IT’s internal IT network and systems in Nigeria. This hands on role will require a person with ability to provide direction and advice on IT solutions that will best help the Hotels perform more efficiently
- The IT Manager is also responsible for managing internal projects, deployments, monitoring, maintenance, development, upgrade and support of all current IT systems, network devices, software applications and peripherals.Key Accountabilities
- Manage and develop the IT team of 2, including, training, evaluation, guidance, discipline.
- Identify and resolve problems related to network infrastructure, hardware components, operating systems and business software.
- Communicate regularly with executive management and all users of information services and systems.
Key Skills, Experience & Qualifications
- “Can do” attitude when handling complex situations.
- Results oriented and strong analysis and problem solving skills.

- A Degree in Computer Science, or equivalent experience in a similar role (7-10 years).
- IT strategic focus, however the ability to be hands on.
- An MBA will be an added advantage
- Intermediate ITIL V3 Certification
- Strong user focus and genuine desire to assist others.
- Ability to express complex technical concepts effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- 3+ years’ experience in IT Infrastructure leadership roles and excellent communication skills.Excellent project management and organisational skills, and ability to manage varied and conflicting demands to agreed standards and timelines.
