Job Title: Inventory Officer (Graduate Trainee)

Mission

  • Participate in training sessions, workshops, and courses to develop technical skills and industry knowledge.
  • Work with experienced professionals to learn about their job duties and best practices
  • Assist with project tasks, assignments, and initiatives.
  • Learn to analyze inventory data to identify areas for improvement in stock management strategies. Conduct regular cycle counts and full stock checks to verify inventory accuracy and identify discrepancies.
  • Ensure proper handling and storage of inventory to maintain product quality.
  • Understand and comply with company inventory policies and procedures related to stock control and documentation.
  • Build relationships with colleagues and stakeholders to facilitate collaboration
  • Provide feedback on training experiences and report on project progress to supervisors.
  • Participate in warehouse activities like receiving goods, storing products, and picking and packing orders.
  • Accurately record incoming deliveries, stock transfers, and outgoing shipments into the inventory management system.
  • Other Duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 0 - 2 years of experience.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with different departments.
  • Willingness to learn and adapt to changing inventory management practices.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, and ability to learn inventory management systems.
