We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Inventory Analyst

Location: Gbagada, Lagos
Department: Sales & Marketing
Division: To specify

Brief Description

  • Responsible for all planning and forecasting activities associated with products.
  • The role also includes planning inventory flow, analyzing statistical data and generating solutions from data gathered from sales, marketing, finance, retailer replenishment analysts, and other reliable sources.

Duties

  • Analyzing item sales and stock per branch
  • Forecasting sales using historical figures and branch requests
  • Analyzing and predicting stock levels to cover sales forecasts
  • Ensuring stock is available at specified outlets
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Successfully communicate forecast and inventory estimations to management.
  • Monitor and report on important changes in sales forecasts, budgets, and business strategies.
  • Address demand-related issues in a timely and effective manner.
  • Distribution and redistribution of stock across branches
  • Develop effective forecast models based on industry trends and demand patterns.
  • Support management with risk assessments and mitigation activities.

Minimum Requirements

  • Degree in Business / Supply Chain or equivalent.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in demand planning and forecasting.
  • Good knowledge of Power BI and or analytical tools.

Competencies:

  • Solid understanding of inventory management practices and procedures.
  • Strong mathematical and statistical knowledge.
  • Good use of Microsoft Excel.
  • Analytical thinker with superior problem solving skills
