Job Description

  • The CrossBoundary team is recruiting a full-time Information Technology Specialist to join our IT team. We are seeking a resourceful, innovative, and creative problem-solver to implement solutions in response to the firm’s growing technology needs. The Information Technology Specialist will be responsible for administering the different technology systems; ensuring the satisfactory resolution of any user-reported technology incidents; and employing their broad curiosity and creativity to build robust digital solutions. This person will also play a key role in ensuring the firmwide adoption of new systems and functionalities as they are rolled out.
  • The Information Technology Specialist will report to the Information Technology Manager and work closely with the CrossBoundary Group and firm leadership to implement the firm’s objectives.

Required Qualifications

  • BSc / BA in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or relevant field
  • 5+ years of experience working in information technology providing network and end-user desktop support
  • Proven knowledge of networking and security protocols and concepts - TCP/IP, DNS, VPNs, SDWAN, SDN
  • Advanced understanding of Incident Management, Root Cause Analysis, and Change Management.
  • Solid understanding of enterprise AV and networking infrastructure design, administration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience working in a Microsoft and Apple environment
  • Proven knowledge of SaaS-based business applications (Microsoft 365, Azure, DealCloud).
  • Proven knowledge of managing cloud-based user directories, IAM, Multi-Factor authentication, Intune, and Single Sign-on Service
  • Deep knowledge of Microsoft 365, SharePoint Online, Teams, Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, and Dynamics 365 (Fin & Ops and CRM)

Key Responsibilities
In this role, you will:

  • Work with different user groups to understand their needs, find potential solutions, and partner with them through the successful implementation of the same
  • Create and leverage metrics and reporting to identify trends within the environment and collaborate effectively with other stakeholders to build valued add and scalable solutions.
  • Monitor, troubleshoot, resolve, and continually enhance the offices’ network and audio-visual (AV) systems thereby ensuring consistent user experience across the firm
  • Work with network and AV engineers to perform required onsite support activities
  • Provide high-quality hardware and system support to users and escalate issues to the IT Manager when necessary
  • Conduct technology awareness sessions
  • Perform other related duties as requested or assigned
  • Work with different user groups to understand their needs, find potential solutions, and partner with them through the successful implementation of the same
  • Administer the different systems that CrossBoundary Group is using such as Azure, Microsoft 365, DealCloud, and Adobe Enterprise
  • Ensure that user onboarding, cross-boarding, and offboarding processes are seamless from a technology standpoint
  • Be required to travel for business when the need arises.
