Job Title: System Operator / Sr. System Operator or SME
Location: Lagos
Job Descriptions
- Monitors and ensures compliance with the internal policy and
procedures, provides support for the Information Technology
infrastructure including vendor escalation, takes inbound vendor calls
and works with them or routes them to the appropriate resources,
manages inbound employee calls and identifies and escalates internal
issues.
- Perform proactive monitoring of all components in IT Infra
stack including Power & Cooling system, Servers & Storage,
Network devices and LAN/WAN link, Banking Channel Devices and
Transactions, Banking application.
- Update assigned tasks in a timely manner; escalate as required to management, vendors and clients.
- Ensure proper escalation during outages or periods of degraded system performance, problem resolution and customer satisfaction.
- 24/7 monitoring requires a flexible schedule with weekend and evening support
- Good writing and reading skills
- Excellent follow up and time control skills
- Ability to assess the impact of different network problems
Desired Skills and Experience
- First Degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Minimum of Three (3) years relevant work experience.
- Senior skills and experience more than 5 years will be considered
- Subject Matter Expert (SME) or team lead as past roles will be preferred

Job Title: Network Link Expert
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Ensure the provision of optimal support on all IT network link within customer offices.
- Assist in implementing defined work programs and plan in the area of network link.
- Optimize and maintain the network links, Optimize network link topology and structure, ensure network link stability.
- Manage and report the network links status to management level and customer.
- Liaise with relevant unit/ team/function in carrying out all relevant activities.
- Attend team/divisional/departmental meetings as required.
- Assist in providing technical support to end users of customer’s IT network infrastructure organisation-wide.
- Maintain relationships with third-party link vendors and ensure that agreed SLAs are achieved.
- Assist in setting up and maintaining network link management system tools to ensure network link are constantly monitored.
- Assist in setting up and executing technical test plans for link modification, new link deployment
- Assist in monitoring and troubleshooting network link related
issues and requests down to the last line of support before escalating
to third-party link vendors.
Desired Skills and Experience
- Good skill and knowledge on Micro Wave link, VSAT, optical cable, ADSL, XDSL.
- More than 4 years work experience on network link maintenance.

Job Title: Tools Engineer
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Assist in developing and maintaining tool infrastructure including ITSM, ITOM and Workplace enablement toolset.
- Hands-on responsibility over the monitoring & control system
of infrastructure and applications including CA ITSM suite, CA Spectrum
Console and other monitoring tools, scripts, MS SCCM & SCOM, etc.
- Responsible for the ongoing activities of the monitoring &
control tools: installations, upgrades and maintenance, troubleshooting,
technical escalation and relevant vendors relationship.
- Responsible to configure the M&C tools including ongoing inspections and constant improvements.
- Develop scripts, reports and other solutions for monitoring
- Reduce false alarms and support alert analysis.
- Provides 7x24 support on a rotating schedule.
Desired Skills and Experience
- First degree or equivalent in a relevant discipline.
- Familiar with CA ITSM toolset to implement, design and consulting.
- Familiar with at least one or more of
VMware/Cisco/Microsoft/Redhat/IBM/Oracle toolset or Open Source IT
Operation (ITOM) tool suite to monitor performance, capacity and health
check such as Puppet, Nagios, Zabbix.
- ITILv3 certification is preferred.
- Shell, JavaScripts, Python skills are preferred.
- Minimum of three (3) years relevant work experience.
- Candidate with five (5) years relevant experience will be considered Subject Matter Experts or team lead.
