Job Title: Human Resources Coordinator

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

  • As the HR & Admin Coordinator, you will work with the HR Manager in pursuit of the Organization’S Goal of becoming an employer of choice in Africa, with a strengthened ability to attract and retain the best talents within the continent by adopting and implementing global human resources best practices and policies.
  • You will help with the implementation of the corporate strategies, policies, and culture across the JC Group of Companies.

Duties
Administrative Duties:

  • To increase efficiency in all aspects of office administration and making sure that visitors and employees are satisfied with JC International facilities, services, and products.

Admin Matters:

  • Manages and maintains community relations including scholarship scheme and implements local content drive in the sourcing of manpower.
  • Undertake reviews, renewals, and Insurance Policies viz: vehicle, building, burglary, assets, etc.
  • Proper maintenance of office buildings and equipment including insurance.
  • Serves as the focal person for security and environmental issues: in liaison with the HSE department of the organization
  • Adheres to the company’s QMS and safety policies

Document Control as Part of HRA Coordinator’s Duties:

  • Maintain e-copies of personnel certificates
  • Filing of records and opening of files for new staff as advised by HRM
  • Oversee production of staff ID cards & complimentary cards
  • Ensures adequate archive and easy reference of all personnel training Certificates
  • Attend Safety meetings when necessary
  • IPeriodically update the personnel competency matrix
  • Issuing of memos and notices meant for staff consumption
  • Prompt notification of the dates of personnel training certificate before the expiration

Requirements

  • HND or B.Sc in a relevant field.
  • Proficient in the use of HR software.
  • Member of a professional body will be an added advantage.
  • At least 5 years work experience in Human Resources Management.
  • Proficient in MS package.
