Inner Galaxy Steel Company Limited remains our biggest investment in the Nigerian economy yet. Located in Umuahala community of Abia state which is some 25km to the industrial and commercial city of Aba, it is a focused steel manufacturing outfit with the capacity to produce reinforced steel bars of different sizes as well as steel products of various shapes and sizes for the Nigerian market as well as the West African coast. With our dedication to quality, we have also begun the production of Thermo-Mechanically Treated (TMT) rebars of various sizes as well.

Job Title: Human Resource Manager

Job Description

• Our company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the human resources department, including but not limited to recruitment, employee relations, benefits administration, performance management, and training and development.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement HR policies and procedures
• Manage the recruitment process, including job postings, interviewing, and candidate selection
• Provide guidance and support to managers and employees on HR-related matters
• Conduct performance evaluations and create performance improvement plans when necessary
• Develop and deliver training and development programs
• Handle employee relations issues and investigations.
• Ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations
• Maintain employee records and ensure data accuracy
• Administer employee benefits programs

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Human Resources or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in HR management
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and HR software systems
• Must be between the age of 30 to 40 years of age.
• Thorough knowledge of HR laws and regulations
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
