OISA Foundation was registered in 2019 as a charity to actively transform lives by investing in Health and Education for Adolescents. The foundation was set forth four years ago to create a real difference in accessing quality secondary education for indigent children in Osun State and is now expanding to other states in Nigeria. We give scholarships to brilliant indigent children to complete secondary school education. Our foundation has an educational scholarship program called the Indigent Community Educational Scholarship Scheme. We target our scholarship students to become responsible members of society who will contribute to the development of the country. We orientate and help to grow the children into creative, modern, and critical individuals who can adapt easily to changing global conditions.

Also, we firmly believe that good health is key to the development of the society at large therefore we are committed to impacting the mental health care system so as to curb the rising incidence of Mental Health disorders by advocating and promoting processes and structures within schools that will produce resilient adolescents that will thrive during crisis and opportunities. The OISA Foundation creates mental health awareness, identifies issues that impact the mental wellness of adolescents, and provides a platform to proffer solutions to these identified challenges.

We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Grant Officer
Location: Victoria Island, Lagos
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Under the supervision of the program coordinator in charge of programs, you are responsible for donors’ proposals and reports writing.
  • You work in close collaboration with the program coordinator
  • You ensure donor’s requirements, rules and regulations dissemination and acceptance are followed and serve as the focal point for the mission communication initiatives/strategies to promote the visibility on OISA Foundation’s work in Nigeria.

Main Responsibilities

  • Researches new funding opportunities available through local private and corporate foundations.
  • Ensures and consider donor’s compliance and guidelines to ensure adherence
  • Monitors outstanding grant proposals
  • The candidate must have experiences in writing/developing technical solicitations for education-related funds and grants from donors
  • Performs other duties as assigned.

Profile

  • Bachelor's Degree in the following or related field: Humanitarian Management, Development, International Relations.
  • Demonstrated experience in grant writing
  • Excellent knowledge of Windows environment (word, excel).
  • At least 2 years of experience in a similar role.
