An established Restuarant is opening a new location in Lagos State, is recruiting to fill the positions below:     Job Title: Book Keeper Location: Lagos Job Description

  • Manage all incoming cash that is received by the restaurant
  • Responsible for auditing cash drawers to maintain accurate records.
  • Responsible for preparation of daily sales reports
  • Responsible for making daily bank deposits
  • Provides training and coaching sales associates on proper cash handling procedure to minimize discrepancies and errors.
  • Responsible for posting all transactions in the General Ledger to facilitate preparation of monthly management accounts
  • Carry out preparation of accurate month –end accounts with comparisons to forecasts and previous periods
  • Prepare profit and loss accounts and balance sheets
  • Responsible for preparation and submission of statutory returns i.e. VAT, PAYE
  • Responsible for preparation of payroll on or before the last day of every month.
  • Responsible for ensuring that all payments are verified before cheques/cash is given out
  • Responsible for preparing weekly and monthly bank reconciliations
  • To lead in stock taking at the beginning of every week and at the end of the week and oversee monthly stock taking
  • Responsible for the preparation and filing of inventory lists.
  • Attend staff meetings and conduct meetings as required
Requirements
  • Experience in a similar role.
  • B.Sc /HND in Accounting.
  • Minimum AAT qualification.
  • ACA desirable.
  • Excellent use of excel.
  • Must have good customer relation skills;
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Must have strong numeracy skills and a keen eye for detail.
    Job Title: Waiter and Waitress Location: Lagos  Job Description
  • To provide excellent customer service and present a positive image to all Customers
  • To wear the correct uniform and maintain the highest standards of personal hygiene
  • To prepare the restaurant for service daily following established guidelines
  • To learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all menu items and be familiar with current promotions and any new products
  • To greet customers and show them to their seats.
  • To present menu items to customers and take their food and drinks orders
  • To ensure table is set and food is arranged in an appetizing manner before presenting food to customers
  • To deliver drinks and food orders to tables

  • To learn and retain a comprehensive understanding of all drink menu items and be familiar with current promotions and any new products
  • To prepare the bar for service daily following established guidelines
  • To prepare cocktails and serve beverages in accordance with international standards
  • To record all sales accurately
  • To account for payment received from the customer at the end of the shift
  • To wear the correct uniform and maintain highest standards of personal hygiene
  • To follow cleaning routine and ensure that a high standard of hygiene and cleanliness is maintained during the shift, this includes set up and clean down procedures
  • Report spills, breakages and accidents to the floor supervisor

  • To ensure the kitchen and restaurant areas are cleaned and maintained in accordance with company guidelines.
  • To ensure staff on duty adhere to the company’s uniform policy at all times when on duty
  • To ensure that food and drinks are served and presented in accordance with company standards
  • To monitor and control stock usage and reorder supplies
  • To maintain product knowledge and be familiar with current promotions and any new products
  • To ensure staff adhere to the company’s stock control procedures
  • To monitor and ensure till operations (cash drawers) are accurate
