We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Data Intern

Location: Abuja (FCT)

Role Purpose

  • Responsible for collecting, analysing, and summarising, sensitive data by identifying sector risks for investment advisory purposes.
  • Providing information to support analysts, consultants, and stakeholders.

Job Responsibilities

  • Support projects by performing quantitative analysis and other data sources to research, model, and recommend solutions
  • Assisting in the coordination of and obtaining feedback on public engagements
  • Generate custom datasets, reports, and visualizations that solve clients’ most pressing challenges
  • Communicate key insights and recommendations to team lead and consult on how to use data to make data-driven decisions
  • Transcribing meetings
  • Contribute to positive team culture by participating in team-building activities and being a supportive and empathetic colleague
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned

Role Requirements
Essential Requirements:

  • Minimum of a First Degree required in Computer Science, Mathematics, Statistics or related fields
  • Minimum of 1+ years of relevant working experience in research, or analysis
  • Knowledge of data extraction and visualization
  • Accuracy and attention to detail
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently.
  • Proficiency in use of spreadsheet, database, and presentation applications including Excel and PowerPoint
  • Knowledge of data analytics software or R, SQL, Python
