We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Fleet Officer

Unit: Transportation & Logistics
Sub Unit: Transport
Team: Transport and Fleet Team
Reports to: Head, Transportation & Logistics
Supervises (Job Titles): Fleet Team, Mail Room Clerks

Job Objective(s)

  • Repair/routine maintenance of the Bank’s Fleet.
  • Funding of the Total Fuel cards
  • Funding of the fleet management cards
  • Supervising the Bank’s drivers.
  • Allocation and re-allocation of vehicles to branches and departments.
  • Renewal of vehicle licenses, hackney permit, road worthiness etc.
  • Vehicle inspection and monitoring.

Specific Roles and Responsibilities
Financial:

  • Ensure all budgeted items are not exceeded.

Process:

  • Development, Management and Administration of transport programs and systems
  • Management of Drivers
  • Provision of professional guidelines and make input into the administration and acquisition of vehicles and motorbikes.
  • Liaison with vendors, Insurance Company and other relevant authority e.t.c.
  • Investigation and reporting of all/attempted security breaches in conjunction with Internal Control.

Customer:

  • All Staff, Branches and Depts., Service Workshops Vendors

Team:

  • Motivate, share ideas and provide on-the-job training for the entire Ecobank Business Services Staff
  • Manage and supervise Transport functions for the Bank.

Job Requirements
Education:

  • A Good University Degree with a minimum of 2:2
  • Possession of a professional certificate in transport management will be considered an advantage.

Work Experience:

  • Minimum of 2 years working experience in transport/fleet management of a commercial Bank and/or other corporate organization.
