Job Summary / Responsibilities
  • Under the direction of the  Procurement and Logistics Manager, the  Administrative Assistant will be responsible for the provision of administrative and logistical services to the project, as well as some accounting and procurement support.
Duties and Responsibilities
  • Assists the PLM in arranging travel logistics for project staff, consultants and training participants including hotel reservations and where required, arranging airport and hotel pick-ups.
  • Assists the PLM in arranging logistics for procurement deliveries.
  • Assists the PLM by preparing procurement request forms.
  • Assists the PLM in the provision of logistic support for workshops and trainings.
  • Assists the PLM in the maintenance of an efficient records/storage of all office supplies.
  • Serves as point of contact for logistical and administrative needs in the office.
  • Records minutes of staff meetings and circulates same amongst the staff of the zone.
  • Assists with production of presentation materials for staff members.
  • Act as a receptionist: answers the telephones in an appropriate, clear and friendly manner, takes and relays messages or forwards calls, greets and directs office visitors, receives/sends correspondence, keeps fax log and any correspondence.

Job Summary / Responsibilities

Job Summary / Responsibilities
  • The nutrition coordinator is responsible for designing, overseeing and coordinating the nutrition programs, as well as liaising with various external partners. S/he reports to head of mission, medical and nutrition advisor at headquarters level.
  • The panel of activities in a nutrition programs includes: Community based Management of Acute Malnutrition (CMAM) approach, Assessments and surveillance interventions (nutrition surveys using ENA for SMART, coverage surveys, sentinel site, LQAS etc.) Infant and Young Child Feeding partners, Capacity building of local partners, community mobilization and research projects.
Management of the Nutrition Program:
  • Follow up and ongoing analysis of the context.
  • Definition, supervision and monitoring of FHI 360 Nutrition programs, in compliance with international and national guidelines and in coherence with identified humanitarian needs.
  • Provision of continuous guidance and technical support.
  • Design and ensure the use of monitoring tools.
  • Ensure compliance of programs in terms of achieving objectives in current grants.
Team Management:

Reporting:

Job Summary / Responsibilities
  • Position is responsible for better nutrition among communities through treatment clinical symptoms of severe acute malnutrition and prevention of further deterioration of the nutrition situation through provision of therapeutic food, routine drugs, health and nutrition education and capacity building and technical support to the ministry of health in the management of severe acute malnutrition.
  • Ensure effective management of clinical and other ailments at OTP
  • Plan and organize OTP at designated distribution sites in liaison with OTP Supervisor and DNPM.
  • Work closely with FHI 360 staffs to ensure all aspects of the programme are understood and agreed and appropriate referrals take place to and from the OTP and the programme is well integrated into the health systems.
  • Work closely with the teams to ensure all children are screened correctly
  • Ensure all criteria are respected and understood by the teams, including admission, discharge and transfer to and from the OTP/Stabilization.

  • Ensure adequate availability of all medical and food supplies and ensure stock is pre-positioned as planned by discussing with logistics.
  • Follow-up and provide feedback to the PHC Doctor/ OTP Supervisor on the amount and quality of the treatment supplies if it does not comply with specified quality standards.

Job Summary / Responsibilities Position is responsible for nutrition rehabilitation among admitted cases through treatment of clinical complications of severe acute malnutrition and prevention of further deterioration of the nutrition situation through provision of therapeutic feeds, routine and specialized medicines, health and nutrition counseling, and capacity building and technical support to the SC and pediatric Unit in the management of complications associated with severe acute malnutrition:
  • Ensure effective management of complications related in the hospitalized cases
  • Effectively following the SC protocols for the medical care of the SAM cases with complications.
  • Work closely with SC and Pediatric staff to ensure all SC protocols are understood and agreed and appropriate referrals take place to and from the OTP.
  • Prepare plan of action for effective SC implementation in consultation with the SC Supervisor and Pediatrician.
  • Ensure all criteria are respected and documented, including admission, discharge and transfer to and from the OTP.
  • Ensure comprehensive health checks, checking Vitals, frequent medicines and feed administration and treatment according to the protocols.
