Lifetime Caring International Foundation situated at No. 1 Peace Crescent, Woji, New Layout, (Behind Zenith Bank), Woji Port Harcourt, is a non-profit, non-governmental organization committed to providing succour and humanitarian services to the down-trodden and vulnerable groups across West Africa. Though, the foundation started as ministry in 1995 by the founder Late Amb. Dr. Lucky Suanu Abadaam. The vision was conceived as a result of his experience and encounters with widows and orphans during his ministerial outreaches. The pathetic conditions and sufferings of the people placed the burden upon him that metamorphosed the ministry into an NGO.

Job Description

  • We are seeking to engage an Executive Director for the CDC funded ASPIRE Project.
  • The Executive Director shall take full responsibility of the project activities and ensure compliance to the donor and procedures for the ASPIRE Project, lead in the management, monitoring and implementation of the project towards achieving the project and organizational goal.

Responsibilities

  • The ED is 50% on the ASPIRE Project.
  • Shall facilitate day to day management of the project activities, provide leadership to monitor budget implementation and ensure strict compliance to donor and organization policies and procedures for the ASPIRE Project.
  • Coordinate senior management team activities including anchoring of meetings in accordance with the established ToR.
  • Support to ensure timely submission of accurate programmatic and technical reports as required including responding promptly to all requests from donor.
  • Support in duties related to the management of human resources, including analysis of staffing needs and resources, review of positions descriptions, mentoring and capacity building.
  • The ED shall attend meetings of utmost importance as deemed fit by the funders at the state level.
  • Facilitates and coordinate Monday Planning and review meetings with team members  for improved quality program service delivery.

Required Qualifications

  • B.Sc / M.Sc in Biological Science, Social Science,  Public Health, International Development, or related field
  • 7 - 8 years’ experience working in HIV/AIDs / TB/OVC projects  for public health, especially USAID/CDC  development projects.
