We are recruiting to fill the position below:

Job Title: Dredging / Marine Engineer

Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Responsibilities
Duties include but are not limited to:

• Maintain the dredger or auxiliary vessel as efficiently as possible.
• Overseeing daily activities onboard of both engine room and deck equipment.
• Ensuring spare parts are ordered in time to avoid unnecessary downtime.
• Keeping track of running hours for timely maintenance.
• Overseeing the safety standard is maintained onboard.
• Overseeing maintenance carried out of engine room and deck equipment and ensuring the dredger remains up to standard.
• Daily report of engine room reports to the technical supervisor.

Essential Skills / Qualifications

• At least 5 years experience as a dredge/marine engineer for a reputable dredging company.
• To be considered you will need to have the ability to demonstrate knowledge, capability, and competence in technical and operational aspects of dredging.
• Should have a good command of the English language
• Good writing skills.
• Should be able to swim
