Skipper ETS Electric Limited is a commercial and manufacturing joint venture between two major global electrical equipment manufacturers (SkipperSeil & Emirates Transformer & Switchgear) formed to manufacture a range of high-quality IEC Distribution Transformers, Metering Cubicles, MV Switchgear and assemble both SF6/Oil (Lucy Electric) Ring Main Units in a new purposely built facility located on the outskirts of Lagos. Skipper ETS delivers a local solution for Nigeria, and intends to quickly establish itself as a Power House supplying Nigerian electrical distribution network operators.

Job Description

  • We are seeking an experienced and confident Customer Relations Manager to join our team in Lagos. The successful candidate will have a strong background in Customer relations within the power and distribution industry and will be responsible for driving business growth by establishing and maintaining strong relationships with customers.

Responsibilities

  • Making cold calls to clients introducing the company to them
  • Setting customer expectations and revenue goals.
  • Identifying customer demands and requirements.
  • Advising customers on cost-effectiveness.
  • Offering exceptional customer service to customers.
  • Negotiating agreements with customers.
  • Maintaining good relationships with customers.
  • Approaching prospective customers to build rapport.
  • Taking feedback from customers to ensure they are satisfied with the service.
  • Adhering to all the rules and regulations of the company.
  • Researching the competitors and devising plans accordingly.
  • Staying updated with the latest ways to retain customers.
  • Developing plans to address customer-specific needs.
  • Dealing with people of different backgrounds and temperaments.
  • Solving customer issues and complaints.
  • Planning strategies for customer care and conflict resolution.
  • Cross-selling products and services to the customer.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administrator, Marketing or a relevant field.
  • 3 years of experience working as a Customer Relationship Manager or a similar role in the Customer Service department.
  • Sound knowledge of the company’s products and services.
  • Ability to maintain sensitive and confidential information.
  • Excellent presentation skills.
  • Ability to maintain a positive attitude.
  • Exceptional people and problem-solving skills.
  • Demonstrate the ability to work in teams and independently.
  • Excellent organizational and interpersonal skills.
  • Outstanding oral and written communication skills.
  • Good customer service skills.
