Job Title: Inventory Manager
Location: Lekki, Lagos
Job Summary
- IL Bagno wants that one perfect Inventory Manager to manage the
receipt, storage, issuance and control of various items of the company's
in line with standards that reduce stock holding costs.
- The position reports to the head of Supply Chain.
Some Duties and Responsibilities
- Direct and manage the handling (offloading, unpacking/packaging
and stacking) and transportation of items in stock in and out of the
warehouses.
- Responsible for the management of the warehouse, in line with organization’s policies.
- Ensure correct and timely valuation of the inventory and input
inventory information in stock records/documentation such as in MS
Excel, Goods Received Notes etc.)
- Conduct periodic stock counts and extensive stock taking
exercises in line with provisions of the corporate inventory Management
Policies, processes and Procedure.
- Make suggestions and share ideas to improve quantity and quality of work.
- Work as an effective team member, anticipate to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure each assignment or task is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that staff behavior and conduct conform to company values, expectations, and policy.
- Be an exemplary role model; use good judgment, and maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Keep supervisor apprised of all matters relating to supply chain in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Prepare/generate (daily, weekly or monthly) inventory reports, highlighting inventory movement and stock levels.
- Responsible for close monitoring of the re-order level for all categories of IL Bagno products.
- Security and safety of products as well as the maintenance of all inventory records and documentation.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting is a must.
- Strong background in cost accounting, inventory and logistics.
- Minimum of 6 years of experience in cost accounting, logistics,
transportation, inventory control, storage and warehouse management.
- Superior and demonstrable knowledge of product and market.
- Demonstrable expertise in process improvement and proffering supply chain solutions.
- Superior inventory, operational logistics and project management skills.
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage, and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to account for every warehouse item at any point in time.
- Excellent ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Methodical approach, analytical and critical thinking skills to problem solve and make decisions.
- Superb attention to detail and consistently produce timely and error-free work at all times.
- Positive, quick thinking, and resourceful demonstrating a positive can-do attitude.
- Reliable, dependable, diligent, humble with the uttermost level of integrity.
- Accurately and speedily analyze scope of work and schedule work for on-time delivery.
- Ability to listen, understand, and ask relevant follow-up questions.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal and relationship management skills.
- Leader with excellent time management skills and ability to work to meet all deadlines.
- Superb ability to interact and maintain effective professional relationships with the sales team.
- Expert, detailed and real-time knowledge of all products and orders.
- Previous expereince supervising logistics, warehouse, cost accountant, and inventory staff.
- Team player with strong ability to work collaboratively to meet goals.

Job Summary
- IL Bagno wants that one perfect Internal Control Officer to
conduct independent examinations of the financial, operational and and
process sytems of the company's business units, and prevent and detect
errors, fraud and theft.
Some Duties and Responsibilities
- Review data about assets and its utilization, net worth, liabilities, stock, income, and expenditures.
- Analyze and review Foreign Creditors statements.
- Examine the risk position of the company on all activities
through identification, assessment and provide recommendations on
various risk factors in order to prevent such risk.
- Review vendor and stock data.
- Work as an effective team member, anticipate to ensure tasks are completed in a timely manner.
- Ensure each assignment or task is delivered in a timely and effective manner.
- Ensure that staff behavior and conduct conform to company values, expectations, and policy.
- Be an exemplary role model; use good judgment, and maintain the highest level of discretion and confidentiality at all times.
- Keep supervisor apprised of all matters relating to internal control in a timely manner.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.
- Collect and analyze data to detect deficient controls,
duplicated effort, extravagance, fraud, or non-compliance with
regulations and management policies.
- Conduct pre audit test of all expenditures.
- Keep abreast of best practices and new internal control tools.
- Make suggestions and share ideas to improve quantity and quality of work.
Minimum Qualifications and Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Professional certification such as ICAN.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in cost and management accounting, taxation and auditing.
- Superior and demonstrable knowledge of Internal control systems and processes.
- Demonstrable expertise in policy formulation and implementation.
- Superior investigative and analytical skills.
- Experience using accounting software such as Sage, and proficiency in MS Word and MS Excel.
- Strong numeracy skills with the ability to produce accurate standard and adhoc reports.
- Excellent ability to communicate in English both verbally and in writing.
- Team player with strong ability to work collaboratively to meet goals.
- Methodical approach, analytical and critical thinking skills to problem solve and make decisions.
- Superb attention to detail and consistently produce timely and error-free work at all times.
