We are recruiting to fill the position below:



Job Title: Cost Controller
Location: Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time

Purpose of Position

  • The position of Food & Beverage cost controller plays a crucial role in the hospitality and food service industry, serving several key purposes aimed at ensuring cost control, waste elimination and overall financial efficiency.

Key Roles & Responsibilities
Include but not limited to the following:

  • Verify the Market list initiated by the Chef and spot check purchase items quantity as per PO.
  • Regular meeting with Chef and F & B Manager to achieve better planning and control of food and beverage costing.
  • Keep records and monitor all inter kitchen transfer.
  • Periodically inspection on the receiving dock to ensure the quality of goods received are satisfactory.
  • Conduct monthly sock inventory count and half yearly operating Equipment count.
  • Prepare daily food and beverage cost reports.
  • Monitor daily staff cafeteria costing.
  • Prepare monthly food and beverages cost compilation reports.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field such as Accounting / Finance / Hospitality Management.
  • Professional Qualification: Certified Hospitality Accountant Executive. Or Certified Management Accountant (CMA).

Experience:

  • Minimum of 4 years experience working in a similar role.
