Job Brief

• We are seeking to employ a Collections Officer to join our team. As a Collections Officer, you will be responsible for managing and collecting outstanding debts from clients.

Responsibilities
Your duties and responsibilities will include:

• Contacting clients via phone, email, or in-person to collect outstanding debts
• Negotiating payment plans with clients who are unable to pay in full
• Collaborating with other departments to ensure timely and accurate billing and invoicing
• Preparing and submitting reports on collections activities and progress
• Updating client records and maintaining accurate account information
• Resolving client disputes and complaints related to outstanding debts

Requirements
To be considered for this role, you must possess the following skills and qualifications:

• A Bachelor's Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field
• 1-2 years of experience in collections or a similar role
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and collections software
• Strong communication and negotiation skills
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy

Salary
The salary range for this position is N60,000 - N80,000 / Month depending on experience and qualifications.
