Job Title: Consultant Radiologist

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Chief Consultant Radiologist of the organization, the Radiologist will be responsible for providing general radiology services at Medivation Health Limited’s centers.
  • This will encompass plain film reporting, screening and crosssectional imaging with computer tomography (CT), Mammograms, Ultrasound, Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI) and basic interventional radiology services.
  • The activities of the Radiologist include, provide efficient, effective, and professional radiology services to patients, perform Diagnostic imaging procedures, and interpret test results.
  • Other activities of the Radiologist include; provide appropriate and timely advice to the Chief Consultant Radiologist, ensure maintenance of professional standards of radiology, and supervise the activities of Radiographers.

Responsibilities

  • Evaluate the patient’s medical history to ensure the various medical imaging procedures will not cause harm to the patient.
  • Suggest alternative medical imaging techniques where necessary.
  • Using machines such as Computer Tomography (CT), Magnetic Resonance Imaging (MRI), Ultrasound and other machines available to perform diagnostic imaging procedures.
  • Communicate test results and their diagnosis to a patient’s primary physician through a written report.
  • Provide effective, efficient, and professional clinical radiology services to patients.
  • Responsible for maintaining high standards of personal clinical performance and foster the maintenance of high standards of radiological diagnosis.
  • Instruct, guide and supervise Radiographers to carry out imageguided, diagnostic procedures.
  • Interpreting the results from diagnostic imaging procedures to determine diagnosis.

Requirements

  • Medical degree (MBBS / MD)
  • Fellow West African College of Surgeons (WACS-Radiology) and or National Postgraduate Medical College of Nigeria.
  • 2 - 3 years of working experience.
  • Knowledge of Health and Safety issues.
  • Proficient in general radiology techniques including X-ray, CT, MRI and Ultrasoun.

 

 

Job Title: Radiographer

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Consultant Radiologist, as Radiographer, you’ll be involved in the capturing and development of various radiological images, including x-rays, computed tomography (CT) scans, mammograms and Magnetic Resonance imaging (MRI).

Responsibilities

  • Performing and processing a range of radiographic examinations including X-rays (routine and special investigations), CT scans, MRIs, and Mammograms to obtain high-quality images.
  • To provide support and reassurance to patients, taking into account their physical and psychological needs.
  • Assisting the Radiologist with advanced preparations, intervention procedures and more complex radiological examinations.
  • Preparing the patients for their procedure including explaining in full details how the procedure works and addressing any questions or concerns along with compiling a medical history for the patients and providing them with necessary protective clothing or gear.
  • Directing and supervising Intern/NYSC radiographers.
  • Ensure that equipment is regularly checked for malfunctions and any fault reported.
  • Performing diagnostic imaging to produce clear, unstable images.

Requirements

  • BSc in Radiography or any equivalent qualification and registered with The Radiographers Registration Board of Nigeria.
  • Must have current practicing license. Additional training will be an added advantage.
  • 1 - 2 years post-qualification experience is required.
  • NYSC discharge / exemption certificate.

Job Title: Business Development Officer (NYSC)

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • The Corper Business Development Officer reports primarily to the Business Development Manager and secondarily to the General Manager. Establishing results-producing relationships with HMOs, Corporate Organizations and individuals.
  • The ideal candidate is a versatile individual with strong team working, communication and interpersonal skills.
  • The ability to work flexibly and to think outside the box is highly desirable

Responsibilities

  • Develop sales and retention strategies for target markets and facility service.
  • Identify new business prospects and other medical-specific initiatives in order to enhance growth of the Company
  • Cultivate relationships and referrals with physicians/consultants, business leaders, community leaders.
  • Achieve quarterly sales goals by developing referrals from physicians/physician practices, corporate companies such that patient volume goals are accomplished for the quarter.
  • Execute sales and retention strategies and plans.
  • Track activities and reports.
  • Complete face-to-face sales and development meetings with physicians, practice managers and company executives, ensuring that a thorough understanding is gained regarding the physician’s or company’s desires and needs.
  • Prepare and present reports.

Requirements

  • BSc in Business Administration or a related discipline.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • NYSC PPA posting letter.
  • NYSC ID card.

 

 

Job Title: Medical Typist

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Reporting to the Patients Experience Supervisor, the Medical Typist types medical reports on clinical findings, and radiological procedures. The Medical typist is expected to be proactive, fast and accurate.

Responsibilities

  • Efficiently and accurately type and produce written and dictated radiological reports within established standards.
  • Proofread, review and verify written and dictated reports for accuracy and quality against established standards.
  • Correct errors in spelling, medical record numbers, patient name, types of procedures, dates, punctation and grammar without changing the meaning of sentences.
  • Correct documents based on physician changes.

Requirements

  • HND, OND in Secretarial Studies or other related disciplines.
  • 1 year experience in Medical typing.
  • Knowledge of medical terminologies.
  • Computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • Proficiency in typing, with a minimum of 60WPM.

 

 

Job Title: Business Development Manager

Location: Lagos

Role Summary

  • Reporting to the General Manager, the Business Development Manager will be responsible for the development and performance of all business development activities in the organization and the achievement of maximum profitability and growth in line with Company vision and values.
  • Establishes plans and strategies to expand the customer base in the marketing area and contributes to the development of new service lines for clients. Dedicate resources in conjunction with necessary teams in Admin to monitor credit clients and B2B Clients

Responsibilities

  • Define and implement business plans, both strategic and tactical, to achieve the annual and longer-term new business sales results across the range of services as set out in the budgets and business plans.
  • Be skilled in networking, lead generation, and prospect management, and making sales across the range of Health’s services provided to develop business growth.
  • Proactively build pipeline of opportunity quality and quantity needed to ensure achievement of the sales plans over the short, medium and long term.
  • Proactively network within corporate clients and intermediary stakeholders, and leverage both internal and external relationships to access and win high value new business.
  • Maintain an in-depth knowledge of Hospital’s range of products and services and those of competitors. Maintain up-to-date knowledge and understanding of trends within the hospitals’ market.
  • Provide monthly reporting, management information and key performance indicators including performance and projections, customer and market developments and trends, and key initiatives and projects to further improve.
  • Achieving or exceeding any personal or commercial targets set to manage strategic planning, and forecasting, as well as reporting activities as necessary.
  • Develop a good knowledge of the Hospital management market; demand competition and prices.

Requirements

  • BSc, BA or equivalent degree.
  • 5 - 7 years experience in Business Development, Public Relations.
  • Healthcare diagnostics (Radiology) industry experience required.
  • Knowledge about the Mainland / Surulere and environ terrain an added advantage
  • Computer proficiency, including but not limited to Microsoft Office, Excel, PowerPoint.
  • CRM experience is an added advantage.
