Vagan Oil & Gas Limited is a Nigerian Private Limited liability Company registered under the Companies Acts of 1990, In line with the policies of the Nigerian service provision. The company core area of operation is to provide a broad spectrum of services ranging from Engineering, Pipeline & Flowline Construction / Repairs, Facility piping and maintenance, Wellhead & Christmas tree maintenance and servicing, Composite wrap technology, Equipment & Offshore/Marine Supplies, etc

We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Business Development / Bid Officer

Location: Lekki, Lagos
Employment Type: Full Time
Work Cycle: 8am to 5am, Monday to Friday Five (5) times a week

Roles and Responsibilities

  • To Closely follow up and monitor the status of proposals, bids and RFQs,
  • To continuously scan for business opportunities in the industry
  • Promptly translate opportunities to tangible business
  • To proactively source information, facilitate access to information, promptly and pragmatically coordinate information flow to Line Manager
  • Keep records of sales, revenue, invoices, etc.
  • Provide trustworthy feedback and after-sales support.
  • Preparation of pre-qualification document for the oil and Gas and Non-Oil and Gas sector.
  • Sales Intelligent data gathering
  • Identifying opportunities for Bid submissions and raising them with the Business Development Manager
  • Monitor online submission of bid packages through NIPEX Joint Qualification System (NJQS) portal, Ariba, other E-procurement platforms, or Physical Submission to the client office is done on time and within the agreed tender preparation budget.
  • To drive aggressive business development activities across the industry
  • Prospect potential clients and convert them into increased business opportunities.
  • Present new products and services to improve existing relationships.
  • Recognize opportunities for services, and opportunities that will result in sales.
  • Submit and ensure data is accurate on weekly progress reports.
  • Develop a growth strategy focused both on financial gain and customer satisfaction.
  • Conduct research to identify new markets and customer needs.
  • Arrange business meetings with prospective clients.
  • Promote the company’s products/services addressing or predicting clients’ objectives.
  • Prepare contracts/bids ensuring adherence to law-established rules and guidelines.
  • Assist the BDM to follow up bids.

Requirements
Academics:

  • BA / B.Sc / HND

Age:

  • 28 -35

  • 3-5 years as a Business Development / Bid Officer
