Hobark International Limited (HIL) is the parent company of the Hobark group operating in the oil and gas industry. The company was incorporated in 1998, starting as a staffing agency based in Port Harcourt. Currently we have offices in 4 countries with our head office in Lagos.

Job Title: Business Assurance Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers

Job Description

• The Business Assurance Manager will play the critical role of identifying, assessing, mitigating, and monitoring the various risks associated with the operations of the asset, in the now, and years to come.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Geology, Finance, Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. A master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., Certified Risk Manager - CRM, Project Management Professional - PMP, Chartered Financial Analyst - CFA) may be preferred or advantageous.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data, perform scenario analysis, and make data-driven decisions to manage risk effectively.
• Familiarity with risk management software, data analytics tools, and digital technologies used for risk assessment, reporting, and decision support (e.g., enterprise risk management systems, predictive analytics, GIS software)
• Strong understanding of upstream oil & gas operations, including exploration, drilling, production, reservoir management, and field development processes.
• Familiarity with industry-specific regulations, standards, and best practices related to health, safety, environment, and regulatory compliance (e.g., API standards, ISO 31000, OSHA regulations).
