The Luxxor Group is a corporate organisation consisting of subsidiaries involved in several industries including Power, Gas Distribution, Metals Trading and Construction across EMEA. We are recruiting to fill the position of:
Job Title: Brand and Marketing Executive Location: Nigeria The Position
  • The ideal candidate for this position is an energetic professional who can offer quick accurate advice and provide creative input to help advance our brands.
  • This role has marketing responsibilities to develop and execute marketing programs that increase brand identity and brand awareness of the company and products.
  • Plan, strategize and execute marketing designs and activities to establish and maintain brand presence in the market
  • Define product strategies and road maps
  • Develop effective positioning in the market
  • Conduct competitive strategic analysis, consumer segmentation, and consumer insight development
  • Launch and oversee advertising and media planning
  • Conceive and develop efficient and intuitive marketing strategies
  • Organize and oversee advertising/communication campaigns (social media etc.), exhibitions and promotional events
  • Conduct market research and analysis to evaluate trends, brand awareness and competition ventures
  • Monitor market trends, research consumer markets and competitors’ activities to identify opportunities and key issues
  • Oversee marketing and advertising activities to ensure consistency with product line strategy
  • Monitor product distribution and consumer reactions
  • Anticipate bottlenecks
  • Brainstorm new and innovative growth strategies
  • Align the company around the brand’s direction, choices and tactics
  • Initiate and control surveys to assess customer requirements and dedication
  • Write copy for diverse marketing distributions (brochures, press releases, website material etc.)
  • Maintain relationships with media vendors and publishers to ensure collaboration in promotional activities
  • Monitor progress of campaigns using various metrics and submit reports of performance
  • Analyze how our brand is positioned in the market and crystalize targeted consumers insights
  • Translate brand strategies into brand plans, brand positioning and go-to-market strategies
  • Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROI and KPIs)
Requirements
  • B.Sc/B.A in Marketing, Business Administration or relevant discipline
  • Proven experience as a brand marketing executive or similar role
  • Good understanding of market research techniques, data analysis and statistics methods
  • Thorough knowledge of strategic planning principles and marketing best practices
  • Proven ability to develop brand and marketing strategies and effectively communicate recommendations to executive management
  • Strong analytical skills and data-driven thinking
  • Advanced communication and interpersonal skills
  • Familiarity with social media and web analytics (e.g. Web Trends)
  • Strong organizational and time-management abilities
  • Creativity and commercial awareness
  • Excellent understanding of the full marketing mix
  • Experience in identifying target audiences and devising campaigns that engage, inform and motivate
