We are recruiting to fill the position below:
Job Title: Finance/Admin Executive
Location: Lagos
Job Description
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Maintain supplier development and vendor data base
- Complete work order forms and process same to proper sources for approval
- Manage the store and requisition by issuing store requisition on request Maintain order levels for store items/office supplies through adequate inventory management
- Analyze maintenance & related operations, making suggestions for improvements
- Responsible for document management (hard and soft copy)
- Respond and assist with Admin requests from subsidiaries
- Generate payment request and petty cash
- Generates monthly summary of expenditures report
- Respond to all audit enquiries on the store
- Responsible for preventive routine maintenance and general repairs of all facility including, lightings, upkeep of all equipment, (proactively prepare routine maintenance schedule)
- Attend to facility user complaints and inquiries (staff, vendors, service providers)
- Ensure adequate & timely supply of office stationery / other general consumables
- Oversee and provide direction to cleaning staff and security personnel Provide information to the HRA Lead for budget planning and requests
- Offers support on all admin related matters to the HRA Lead
- Promote workplace safety and enforce health and other facility regulations
- Perform other duties as may be assigned
- Developing and maintaining a company’s financial policies and procedures
- Consolidate annual budget, including long-term cash flow planning and rolling business plan/forecast information for subsequent years
- Manage timetable for Lead input to budgeting, forecasting & monthly reporting requirements
- Perform key balance sheet reconciliations and central journal postings (advanced bookings; project prepayments and deferred income, income posting, etc.) Creating and completing financial reporting systems
- Maintain orderly account filing system
- Prepare periodic reconciliation statements and ensure that bank reconciliations are completed
- Ensure proper management of accounts payable and receivable in a timely manner
- Ensure that all reasonable discounts are taken on accounts payable
- Monitoring and controlling cash flow
- Generate payment request and petty cash
- Generates monthly summary of expenditures report
- Applies provisions of all financial regulations and ensures compliance by the Group
Competence Requirements
Specification/Qualification:
- A good first degree in Accounting / Finance or any of the Social / Management Sciences or related discipline
- Minimum of 4-6 years post NYSC experience in financial control and reporting Professional Membership
- A minimum of student membership of ICAN or ACCA is required.
Core Skills:
- Strong financial accounting and reporting skills
- Up to date knowledge of accounting regulations
- Flexibility and the ability to thrive in a fastpaced environment
- Financial modelling
- General managerial/ administration skills
- P/C personal productivity tools such as Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook e.t.c.
