Detailed Description

  • We are seeking a motivated individual, who is passionate about social media management, to join our team of marketing professionals as an Audience Engagement Associate. In this role, you will help develop and execute global social media campaigns, creating shareable content and deliverables to support greater brand awareness and engagement.
  • Our ideal candidate is a social media enthusiast with experience in copywriting, graphic design, and digital content creation. To be successful in this role, you must have a creative mind, passion for marketing  and engagement, excellent time management skills and be eager to keep abreast of social media trends, industry innovations and relevant software.
  • The goal of this role is to gradually achieve superior customer engagement and intimacy, website traffic and revenue by strategically exploiting all aspects of the social media marketing roadmap. You should have a solid understanding of how each social media channel works and how to optimize content so that it is engaging on those channels. You are responsible for joining relevant conversations on behalf of the brand and “soft selling” the product by providing support to current and prospective customers.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Execute ongoing and approved campaigns according to our brand guidelines
  • Create new shareable content and engagement opportunities
  • Manage brand influencer activities (on and offline) based on project plans
  • Participate in organizing promotional events to positively represent the company.
  • Propose & execute relevant brand events/sponsorship activities.
  • Prepare reports on campaigns based on analytics.
  • Propose and execute faced-to-face brand experiential ideas to increase brand awareness/affinity.
  • Liaise with partner agencies (Creative, Public Relations, Media etc.) on ongoing projects
  • Manage social media engagement during events, such as Facebook Live/stories and other live posts
  • Ensure brand presence in both online and offline channels.
  • Writes and distributes e-newsletters to subscribers.

Requirements and Qualifications

  • First degree in Marketing, Communication, Business Admin, New Media or Public Relations or any related field
  • Portfolio of successful social media content
  • Ability to work well and quickly under pressure both individually and as a part of a team
  • Excellent project management skills to consistently meet deadlines
  • Phone photography skills are a plus
  • Experience with Canva and/or Adobe Photoshop is also a plus.
  • Prior experience in social media [Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, WhatsApp and Linkedin]
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Effective use of social media analytical tools
  • A love for creativity and the ability to think outside the box
