What Will Your Main Responsibilities Be
- To develop, implement and drive Unilever procurement strategies for the Category.
- To assess, identify and select the appropriate supplier base that would meet the needs of the business.
- To directly lead or co-ordinate large procurement projects as needed.
- To ensure the satisfaction of Unilever's internal customers with the services provided by the procurement organization
- To lead the rationalization of suppliers, materials and services that meet Unilever's business requirements.
- To support the collaboration with senior functional leaders to establish both short and long-term business objectives.
- To deliver cost savings based on sourcing strategies and compliance management.
- To continuously improve ways of working and optimize procurement activities.
- To handle complex and diverse customer, supplier or operational issues within generally defined practices and policies in selecting methods and techniques for obtaining solutions.
- Ability to multitask and take up other responsibilities as assigned.
- Passion for people: talent mastery, which includes spotting, fostering, encouraging, and retaining talent is non-negotiable.
- To lead cross-functional initiatives and represent Unilever's interests in the management of external strategic relationships.
- In the context of Partner to Win, to identify, develop and manage strategic business relationships to enable implementation of the Unilever growth strategy, revenue achievement and new product development initiatives.
Experiences & Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in numerate courses.
- Minimum of 2 years Procurement Experience is a plus
- Strong Excel and PowerPoint Skills
- Knowledge of industry best practices, regulatory requirements, and emerging trends in supply chain management.
- Experiencing working with SAP is desirable
- Storytelling, data visualising and presentation skills

- Business Acumen: Ability to analyze data, use cost models, forecasting, and supplier performance metrics, to make informed decisions and optimize procurement processes.
- Supply Chain Management, inventory management and material requirements planning: Understanding of supply chain principles and practices, including inventory management, procurement strategies, and logistics coordination.
- Detail oriented: Thoroughness and accuracy in Supplier management.
- Passion for high performance: Capacity to identify and address challenges in material availability, to ensure uninterrupted operations.
- Self-Mastery: Strong verbal and written communication skills to collaborate with cross-functional teams, develop proactive engagement with suppliers, and provide clear instructions and updates regarding material requirements. Ability to prioritize effectively, meet deadlines, and adapt to changing priorities in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
