Assistant Manager Trainee Vacancy in an Indigenous Catering and Hospitality Company (Premier Chef)


Premier Chef is an outdoor catering institution with over 30 years experience catering for events inside and outside Nigeria for ordinary and distinguished Nigerians. It has solved the headaches of many who have sought a reputable and experienced organization that can cater excellently for their food and drink requirements at events. Premier Chef also provides industrial catering and manages canteens of various multinationals spanning various industries including oil and gas. An indigenous catering and hospitality company is looking to recruit applicants to fill the position of Assistant Manager Trainee.

JOB TITLE:  Assistant Manager Trainee JOB PROFILE Involves working together with the Business Manager for the day to day running of the strategic business unit including the creation, identification and prioritization of business so as to achieve financial and customer service targets. DESCRIPTION
  • · See to it that the restaurant consistently provides high quality products and that there’s a regular supply of high quality materials
  • · Ensure that the physical and financial resources of the company are well maximized
  • · Make sure that the restaurant maintains a safe, clean and healthy environment
  • · Ensure the safety of the company’s assets, equipment and utensils
  • · Monitor all production and stock documentation and ensure that they are timely submitted to the Central Accounts Department
  • · Prepare and manage the Annual budget for the SBU under the supervision of the branch manager
  • · Organize regular on and off the job training for the restaurant staff
  • · Obtain information to assess competitors’ competencies using the opportunities advantage to impact positively on the business
  • · Coordinate and achieve synergy among staff for optimal delivery of customers’ satisfaction
  • · Consistently monitor product and labor costs to make sure they remain within goals
  • · Solicit guest feedbacks to understand the needs and wants of the customers
  • · Develop and implement creative solutions to areas of improvement
REQUIREMENTS
  • · Between the ages of 26-40
  • · Must have a degree in either Food Technology or Catering and Hospitality
  • · A Catering/Hospitality degree from any of the following schools would be an added advantage: Idah Polytechnic, Kwara State Polytechnic and Lagos State Polytechnic
  • · Previous working experience in a fast food institution
  • · Operations experience of 1-3years
  • · Able to work in a fast paced environment
