  • We are seeking for a Rapid Response Driver. This position is local position and opens to indigenous and/or legal residents of Nigeria.
Summary of Position
  • Duties include operating and maintaining the ambulance bus with a focus on safety.
  • Drive the ambulance vehicle to the scene of the incident in a courteous and professional manner
  • Perform minor maintenance tasks on the ambulance vehicle when necessary.
  • Ensuring that periodic scheduled ambulance vehicle maintenance is completed and reported.
  • Preparing accident and incident reports as necessary.
  • Maintain vehicle in good condition in accordance with organizational policies and procedures
  • Study and be familiar with local streets, roads and buildings around AUN community in order to respond to emergency calls with the utmost speed and efficiency.
Position Requirements
  • Valid driving licence. ( Class E or F )
  • Strength and hand-eye coordination are also necessary.
  • Must be in and maintain top physical form.
  • Strength, physical stamina, agility, and medical fitness.
  • Must be teachable.
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age, possesses and maintains a safe driving record.
  • Must also be available to work flexible hours.
  • Ability to communicate effectively in both oral and written English.
Other Requirements, Abilities for the Position:
  • Ability to drive an ambulance vehicle very quickly, but also do so in a safe manner in order to promote safety.
  • Ability to work in a team.
  • Ability to remain calm in dangerous or stressful situations.
