Job Description

  • This is a “hands-on” role with an opportunity to make a significant impact on our company. The Accountant is responsible for providing accurate and timely data entry and supporting the operations team with their information needs that will draw on your proven skills and experience. You will have strong technical accounting and business skills.

In this role you will be responsible for:

  • Performing daily financial transactions, including verifying, classifying, and recording data within the QuickBooks accounting module.
  • Assisting in the preparation of monthly and year-end financial statements with analysis, interpretation, and explanation of variances.
  • Monthly reconciliations of all accounts and ensuring proper cut-off processes.
  • Controlling and monitoring accounts receivable

Requirements
The person we are looking for must have:

  • Diploma / Bachelor's Degree qualification
  • Minimum of 2 years experience in an Accounting role.
  • Experience and knowledge of corporate accounting and financial management.
  • Experience with QuickBooks would be an asset.
  • Advanced knowledge of Office 365.
  • Meticulous attention to detail and the ability to deal with constantly changing requirements and priorities.
  • A positive attitude and great interpersonal skills with both customers and staff.
  • Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will be an integral part of our organization.
