Job Title: Investment Operations Analyst Location: Nigeria
Description Our client, a leading investment firm in Nigeria is seeking to hire a Head of Investment who will be responsible for implementing the company’s investment and overseeing asset management. Job Summary
  • To manage the administrative and operational processes of client portfolios.
  • To coordinate/ manage the processes required to implement investment decisions and support the investment process.
  • To provide valuable support to the client acquisition/ management and investment management process.
        Key Responsibilities
  • Provide client and fund/portfolio services such as on/off-boarding of clients, attending to client inquiries, and maintaining all client-related records.
  • Conduct all the operations activities related to investment with prime focus on the best execution of trades which accord with approved investment decisions and accurate settlement of trades.
  • Produce various internal and external reporting including but not limited to client, regulatory, and management reports.
  • Prepare and analyze daily/weekly/monthly operational reports and metrics including payment of approved fees and expenses.
  • Liaise with counter-parties such as Custodian, Registrars, Brokers, to ensure the smooth processing of transactions.
  • Work with the Finance and Compliance units to ensure compliance with ongoing regulatory requirements for investment funds & portfolios managed by the Company.
  • Attend to and resolve queries from clients, regulators, trade counter-parties.
  • Handle trade and account reconciliation.
  • Identify problems and inefficiencies with various processes and develop and implement solutions.
Qualifications, Experience and Attributes
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar function for an asset management company.
  • Strong proficiency in the use of relevant line of business solutions and MS Office tools.
  • Team player with the ability to think and act independently
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills.
  • Quick learner, comfortable dealing with ambiguous and fluid situations.
  • Ability to multi-task; juggle multiple deliverables and perform under very demanding conditions.
  • Attention to detail and organizational skills.
  • Superior analytical & critical thinking skills; ability to make good decisions when faced with complex data
Job Title: Investment Analyst-Asset Management Location: Lagos
Job Summary

Requirements 
  • A minimum of 5 years’ experience in a similar function for an asset management company.
  • Proven experience managing/organizing multiple workstreams and/or teams, with demonstrated ability to coordinate several workstreams simultaneously through to completion.
  • Previous work experience supporting senior teams and engaging senior/high-level stakeholders. Experience directly supporting an Executive preferred.
     
Job Title: Chief of Staff / Technical Assistant Location: Lagos
Description Our client, a leading investment firm in Nigeria is seeking to hire a Head of Investment who will be responsible for implementing the company’s investment and overseeing asset management. Responsibilities This role provides support to the Chairman’s office:
  • Assist the Chairman to strategically align time with key priorities, milestones, deadlines, and decisions.
  • Lead strategic initiatives that will help drive business growth and operational improvements, working with key executives. Identify and analyze opportunistic corporate and business development opportunities.
  • Provide thought leadership and leadership on a variety of cross-functional projects. Using strong analytical, presentation, and communication skills, the Chief of Staff will lead projects and initiatives that cut across multiple departments at all levels.
  • Work closely with the Chairman to strategize, plan for, and develop presentations/ materials for internal and external use.
  • Manage the creation/coordination of key presentations to the Executive Team and/or Partners
Requirements 
  • 3 to 4-years of work experience in a multinational professional services firm (Financial Services or Consulting preferred).
  • Bachelors’ degree from a top-ranked global university.
  • Previous work experience supporting senior teams and engaging senior/high-level stakeholders. Experience directly supporting an Executive preferred.
