Job Title: Bursar
Location: Kaltungo, Gombe
Key Elements of the Post
- The Bursar shall be responsible to the provost for the day-to-day administration of financial affairs of the College and co-ordination of financial services.
Qualifications and Skills
- He must be a holder of at least a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc) in Accounting or its equivalent and be registered with either Association of National Accountants of Nigeria (ANAN) or Institute of Chartered Accountants of Nigeria (ICAN).
Tenure
- Shall be for an initial term of 4 years and is renewable for a second and final term of another 4 years following satisfactory performance.
- Other conditions are as applicable to all other tertiary institutions in Gombe State.

Job Title: Librarian
Location: Kaltungo, Gombe
Key Elements of the Post
- The Librarian is responsible for the smooth running of the Library
- Framing library policies, personal contacts and liaising with departments
- Performing library budget
- Responsible for establishing policy for library exchange
- Engaging in matters of common interest
- Performing other duties that may be assigned by the provost.
Qualifications and Skills
- He must be a holder of at least a Bachelor of Science Degree (BSc), Higher National Diploma (HND) or Master of Science Degree (MSc) in Library or Information Science.

Job Title: Registrar
Location: Kaltungo, Gombe
Job Summary
- The Registrar is the Chief Administrative Officer to the College.
Key Elements of the Post
- Shall be the secretary to the College Governing Council and Academic Board
- Ensures control and discipline of non-academic staff
- Responsible for safety and security of every staff and student
- Responsible for processing of students' admission and registration.
- Ensures that there is adequate, available and conducive learning environment for students.
- Takes custody of all College records and maintains learning facilities Controls and supervises College store requisitions.
- Providing directions and support for each external relation
- Prepares and distributes grade report for each student on time.
- Declares the status of each student based on rules and regulations of the College. Prepares testimonials and other temporary certificates for graduated students Responsible for certification and transcripts of students
- Announcement of different programs for those interested candidates to join
- Preparation of academic calendar for regular and other sandwich programs.
- Follow up whether each activity is delivering according to the academic calendar of the College.
- Preparing Statistical bulletin which declares statistical facts about students such as number of programs, retention rate, number of academic and supportive staff and number of students in each department of the College.
Qualifications and Skills
- The Registrar shall be a holder of at least a First Degree in the Humanities with a postgraduate Diploma in Administration with at least 10 years experience in administration and must not be below the rank of a Deputy Director.

Job Title: Provost
Location: Kaltungo, Gombe
Job Summary
- The Provost shall be the Chief Executive and Academic Officer of the College, the Accounting Officer of the College and responsible for the execution of policies of the council and the day-to-day administration of the College.
- The Provost will have ultimate responsibility for the character, discipline, well-being and development of the College community and for coordinating and representing the views and interests of its members.
Key Elements of the Post
- Provide the strategic direction and development of the College.
- Provide leadership in defining the vision and the mission of the College.
- Provide strategic and operational lead for academic planning, policy and delivery,
- Ensuring the achievement of substantive targets such as those relating to student recruitment, financial management, quality improvement and staff participation in scholarship;
- Making a significant contribution to the overall student experience at the College in order to ensure continuous improvement in student satisfaction;
- Maintain the premises and other property of the College;
- Be responsible for developing and maintaining a collegial environment that is conducive to the scholarly interaction of students and College staff.
- Be responsible for ensuring equal employment opportunity and for leading the College's good faith efforts to meet established affirmative action goals for College academic and staff positions.
- In collaboration with the governing council, recruit new faculty members to participate in the College.
- The provost will lead the College to regularly review and update College bye-laws and other governance documents.
- College liaison officer for Gombe State Ministry of Higher Education, Ministry of Health and Relevant Statutory Regulatory professional bodies.
- Responsible for external communication between the College and Ministries, Parastatals and / or any other organizations.
- Representing the College in discussions with relevant external organizations for resource mobilization and formation of alliances.
- Oversees the collection of Government Revenue(s), and control of the College finances.
Qualifications and Skills
- The Provost must possess minimum of a Master's Degree in the Health Sciences
- He must be registered with the relevant Health profession statutory regulatory body and have a valid practicing license with at least Twelve (12) years of work experience in Teaching.
- He must have theoretical knowledge and practical experience in resource mobilization and financial management.
- Must have theoretical knowledge and practical experience in Technology Enabled Learning
- Must show evidence of community service
- Must not be more than Fifty Eight (58) years of age
- Must be familiar and conform with the cultural norms and traditions of the people of Gombe State.
- Must possess a Tutorial Certificate as a necessary teaching qualification of not less than Twelve (12) years experience.
