Job Title: ICT Officer

Location: Lagos

Overview

Summary of Job Function

  • Technical support to all departments
  • Administrative support to all departments
  • Web/Social Media Management

Key Responsibilities

  • Course Coordination
  • Schedule hard disk back up for office computers
  • Manage LAN,WLAN and internet facilities
  • System maintenance
  • Installation and maintenance of training software
  • Post vacancies on job sites
  • Update company’s websites
  • Download CVs from company’s mail box and sort accordingly
  • Manage internet text messaging
  • Develop better ways to manage computer related issues like virus, internet connectivity, synchronization, back up, etc
  • Advice on good software/upgrade of software to company
  • Create awareness of company’s policy to all staff in terms of need to back-up synchronize, use of flash, basic system maintenance, etc.
  • Carry out Research as assigned

Job Title: Senior Instructor, Automation / Instrumentation

Locations: Lagos, Ota - Ogun and Port Harcourt - Rivers

Summary of Job Function

  • Job involves providing training services (In-Plant and In-House) for skilled and unskilled individuals in the area of Industrial Automation, Instrumentation and process control, via the use of modern training aids, software, simulators and hands-on equipment, consultancy services and control engineering services to clients in the FMCG, Oil and Gas industries.

Responsibilities

  • Developing/updating new instrumentation and process control courses.
  • Implementation of calibration training and projects.
  • Planning and executing project assignments like control panel building, installation, configuration and programming of controller (soft starters, VFDs, PLCs, DCS).
  • Lead research and development team in Automation, Instrumentation and Control.
  • Building, installing automation & process trainers as well as software to facilitate training programmes.
  • Sourcing for instrumentation and process control projects e.g. procurements, installation, repair, upgrades etc.
  • Provide Instrumentation design and automation support for new projects for clients in the FMCG, Oil and Gas Industries.

Qualifications
The Automation/Instrumentation Specialist should possess the following qualifications:

  • Automation Lead will have over 6 years skill and competences in Industrial Automation, Instrumentation, Process Control Engineering and must have handled some Engineering Projects.
  • B.Sc. / B.Eng. / B.Tech and M.Sc in Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronics Engineering or related fields.
  • Over 2 years hands-on training and facilitation experience/ presentation experience.
  • Ability to design world-class training materials and trainers.
  • Must be skilled in practical/ field experience with direct applications of relevant software.
  • Minimum of 35 years old.
  • Proficiency in PLC programming and troubleshooting (Siemens, Allen brandley etc).

Job Skills:

  • Ability to facilitate to pass across previous experience.
  • Ability to multi-task.
  • Ability to carry out industrial automation installation projects.
  • Ability to design Electrical Control diagrams, read Electrical and P&ID diagrams.
  • Creative problem-solving and troubleshooting skills.
  • An understanding of and ability to work with high-level computer technology.
  • Ability to work under pressure and tight reporting schedule.
  • Good interpersonal skills with ability to work effectively in a team.

  • Support in-house facility engineer in maintenance of electrical related equipment.
  • Participate in technical and engineering projects.
  • Carry out electrical engineering consulting services for clients.
  • Design, implement, maintain and improve electrical instrument, equipment, workshop, components, products and systems for facilitating, consulting, industrial and domestic purposes.
  • Responsible for electrical equipment, components, simulations, software and workshop.
  • Participate in Electrical related position recruitment activities for clients.
  • Facilitate other programs as may be assigned.
  • Any other duty as may be assigned

Qualification / Experience

  • B.Sc / B.Eng / HND (Electrical Electronics Engineering)
  • Minimum of 10 years experience in above functions.
  • Minimum of 3 years hands-on training and facilitation experience/ presentation skills.
  • Ability to design world-class training materials and trainers
  • Experience with AC+DC drives, relay logic, PLC troubleshooting and wiring terminations.
  • Experience with circuit analysis and preventative maintenance techniques.

Job Skills:
