Job Title: Technical Sales Manager

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • We currently seek a candidate that will be responsible for generating revenue from the assigned geographical location by implementing and executing strategies to achieve sales targets, manage and lead all sales activities, conduct sales territory analyses, and close out sales and promote and manage the brand’s presence in the south-south region of Nigeria.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives
  • Develop new business with existing key accounts/projects and/or identify areas of improvement to meet sales quotas
  • Prepare reports on account status
  • Complete involvement in the sales process; from Lead Generation, Demos, Trainings to negotiation and closing the deal and Account Management.
  • Traveling to potential and existing customers’ premises within an assigned sales area to present company offerings and build brand awareness.
  • Utilizing outbound telephone calls, email communications, and face-to-face meetings with customers to close sales.
  • Developing and sustaining long-term relationships with customers.

Education

  • Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Mechanical/Electrical) or related field is preferred
  • Minimum of two years sales experience in the oil and gas sector

Skills:

  • Proven sales experience: particularly in the oil and gas sector is preferred, with a strong knowledge of the customer base for the sector.
  • Must be a team player and have an exceptional customer service skills..
  • Outstanding negotiation and consultative sales skills.
  • Effective communication skills.
  • An Entrepreneurial mindset is an added advantage.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications.
  • Excellent management, leadership, and organizational skills.
