Job Title: Technical Sales Engineer

Location: Port Harcourt, Rivers
Employment Type: Full-time

Job Description

  • Prepare, create and develop technical presentations and demos that clearly communicate the uniqueness of the Company products or services to prospective customers and clients.
  • Carryout research and come up with product and services that are related to the Company core business and communicate the findings to the Group Business Manager for Management approval.
  • Soliciting and logging client feedback and evaluating the data to create new sales and marketing strategies to target customers.
  • To identify areas for improvement and communicate findings and possible solutions to the Group Business Manager.
  • Setting and achieving sales goals and targets set by Management.
  • Writing and submitting daily activities, weekly and monthly reports to the Group Business Manager for review and recommendations.
  • Training other members of the sales team on the technical aspects of the company's products and services.
  • Generate sales during Marketing, following up on customers after initial contact/sales, securing and renewing orders, negotiating prices and close sales, and arranging deliveries to customers.
  • Research, develop, and modifying customers complaint to meet customers' technical requirements and needs.
  • Assist the team in carrying out tender preparation at all times.
  • Carrying out maintenance services and repairs where applicable on faulty customer’s products.
  • Resolve customer’s queries that have problems with installed products and recommend improved/ upgraded systems and services.

Requirements

  • Solid technical background with understanding and/or hands-on experience in Sales and Marketing of communications/It services.
  • Excellent technical and problem-solving skills.
  • Degree in Engineer with flair in sales and Marketing
  • 4-6 years work experience.
  • Excellent written, verbal communication skills, presentation skills and creativity skills
  • Willingness to travel
  • The ability to relate technical information to non-technical customers.
