Olumawu Nursery and Primary School was established in Abuja as a private school on January 22nd 1993 by a renowned educationalist Chief (Mrs) Margaret Audu of blessed memory,
eight years after she had founded the first Olumawu Nursery and Primary School in Ilorin in 1983.
The school has continued to grow and flourish. Following the introduction of the Universal Basic Education Programme, the school extended its provision to include Junior Secondary students, admitting the first cohort in September 2006. These students successfully graduated in July 2009.
