JOB TITLE: Management Accountant
LOCATIONS – ABUJA and PORT HARCOURT
Responsibilities:

  • Informing key strategic decisions and formulating business strategies
  • analysing financial performance and so contributing to medium and long-term business planning/forecasts
  • monitoring and evaluating financial information systems and suggesting improvements where needed
  • offering professional judgement on financial matters and advising on ways of improving business performance
  • providing a support service by working with all departments and the management team to help make financial decisions
  • undertaking financial administration and internal audits
  • controlling income and expenditure
  • creating business strategies to generate shareholder value
  • liaising with managerial staff and other colleagues
  • ensuring spending is kept in line with the budget
  • advising on the financial implications and consequences of business decisions
  • developing and managing financial systems/policies
  • A chartered Accountant with at least 3 – 5 years cognate experience, relevant degree with a second class (upper division)


JOB TITLE: Financial Controller

The Financial Controller will be involved in long term business planning, analysing data and reporting on financial performance and ‘Key Performance Indicators’ KPI’s.

Job Responsibilities:
  • -Responsible for integrity of General ledger
  • -Implementing procedures according to Corporate policies and procedures
  • -Producing multi dimensional reports for Management decision
  • -Ensuring that all costs are properly tracked and that OPEX and CAPEX are within budget
  • -Preparing and implementing budgets for the entire Company
  • -Costing of the Company’s products, materials, and services
  • -Demonstrating cost cutting initiatives aiming at providing best solution at lower cost
  • -Developing and implementing effective controls framework and management systems to guide and support business operations
  • -Involvement in procurement functions
  • -Planning and managing the material ordering process and ensure constant availability
  • -Ensuring monthly general ledger entries CAPEX and OPEX accruals and provisions are raised
  • -Preparing Monthly Management accounts
  • -Develop analytical tools to evaluate business proposals and identify best decisions
  • -Involvement in day to day management of team
Key Qualifications:
  • -A good first degree in Accounting, Finance or other related fields with a minimum of second class honours degree (upper division), from a reputable University
  • -Must be a Chartered Accountant
  • -A minimum of 5 years in a reputable organisation
