We are recruiting to fill the position below:

 

Job Title: Supply Planning Manager - Golden Penny

Location: Nigeria
Job Type: Full time

Purpose of the Job

  • Responsible for coordinating the supply planning process, including a wide range of duties related to daily functions associated with planning, supplies, and operations.
  • Develop and implement plans for organizing logistics and supplies, create and oversee master schedules and calendars, and monitor inventory lists and supply orders.

The Job

  • Plan and schedule workflow for each unit and operation according to previously established manufacturing sequences and lead times.
  • Analyze sales orders/forecasts released from the sales analyst with respect to capacity planning and material requirements.
  • Expedite operations that delay schedules and alter schedules to meet unforeseen conditions.
  • Develop effective forecast models based on macro and micro trends and demand patterns.
  • Propose and implement solutions to improve demand forecast accuracy.
  • Identify demand forecast risks and develop/implement demand risk assessments and mitigation initiatives.
  • Support decision-making to ensure optimized inventory management for all stock keeping unit and ZERO stock outs.
  • Interface with manufacturing personnel and sales personnel on material status and production planning issues.
  • Interface with procurement staff to prepare purchase orders to obtain materials, tools, and equipment.

Qualifications

  • B.Sc / HND in a relevant field
  • Membership of CIPS is an added advantage

Experience:

  • 2 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Highly effective supervisory skills and techniques.

The Person Must:

  • Have outstanding interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • High inventory control skill and data entry abilities.
  • Strong IT and numerical skills, particularly in MS Excel & PowerPoint.
  • Be numerate and possess analytical skills.
  • Be Detail-oriented and result driven
