Job Description

• We are seeking a skilled and motivated Structural Engineer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have at least 2 years of experience in structural engineering and a solid understanding of design codes and industry standards.
• The successful candidate will work on a variety of projects, ranging from commercial and residential buildings to industrial facilities.

Responsibilities

• Design and analyze structural systems using various materials such as concrete, steel, and timber.
• Conduct structural analysis and calculations to determine the safety, feasibility, and strength of structures.
• Prepare detailed structural plans, drawings, and specifications using CAD software and other tools.
• Conduct structural inspections and assessments to identify potential safety hazards and structural defects.
• Manage project timelines, budgets, and resources to ensure that projects are completed on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with architects, contractors, and other engineers to ensure that designs meet client requirements and are structurally sound.
• Perform site inspections and provide recommendations on repairs, renovations, and other structural issues.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in Structural Engineering or related field.
• 2+ years of experience in structural engineering, preferably in a consulting or design environment.
• Knowledge of building codes and standards such as ASCE, ACI, AISC, and IBC.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Professional Engineer (PE) license preferred.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in structural design software such as ETABS, STAAD, or SAP2000.

Salary

• N60,000 - N70,000 / month.
